We try to share the wealth and I think we did that pretty well. Out of 70 weekly awards only one team, the Mahtomedi Zephyrs, won as many as 4 weekly awards. Senior forward Emma Grothaus was our top player, the Zephyrs were our team of the week, and coach Eric Prose our coach of the week after an impressive win over DeLaSalle in at the Breakdown Tip-Off in week #2. Later, in week #12, Mahtomedi defeated Henry Sibley 47-33 in our game of the week.
Meanwhile, Champlin Park, Cretin, Holy Family, Moorhead and Wayzata each won 3 weekly awards. Following is a complete list of our weekly awards for the 2017-2018 regular season. What’s important now, of course, is who will win our weekly awards over the next 3 weeks of playoff basketball.
