The Nike Tournament of Champions is coming to Chicago from July 10th -12th. The event is considered the most prestigious girls basketball event in the world and will be played down on the Chicago lakefront in the McCormick Place facility.
Inside the facility there will be 76 basketball courts hosting games with 152 teams playing simultaneously. The event is expecting to have close to 1,000 college coaches in attendance .
The 2018 event will host 764 teams and 10,000 athletes and coaches from all 50 states and every Canadian province making it the largest single venue basketball event in men’s or women’s basketball history.
Returning to the 2018 event will be the Nike Nationals, the championship event of NIke EYBL which will have all 32 Nike sponsored teams competing in a separate event along the side other 732 teams playing in the regular event.
The Illinois entry in the EYBL is Midwest Elite , the team features many players from the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2019 Illinois Rankings including
