2018-19 Season Sneek Peek :
Many teams return key starters from last season. McHenry looks to be the early favorite but we should anticipate a closer conference race with Crystal Lake Central and Hampshire both ready to challenge and Crystal Lake South and Prairie Ridge looking to move up and Dundee Crown and Cary -Grove trying to knock the Warriors from the top spot.
2018-19 Stock Risers :
Alyssa Crenshaw Dundee Crown : Crenshaw is a 5’9 Sophomore Forward/Center who played a key role in the Chargers 2nd place finish in conference. She is has a very quick 1st step and has shown she can score from anywhere on the floor.
Ally Cermak Hampshire : A 5’5 Senior Guard Cermak is a pure shooter who can also distribute the ball from the Point Guard position.
Ashley Wachter McHenry: Wachter as a freshman guard was a key contributor in the Warriors conference title and state tournament run. She can score from the 3 point line as well get to the rim and finish. Her sophomore year should see her among the conference leaders in many statistical categories.
