Here we profile Tenley Dowell out of Morton who has already eclipsed the 1,000 point scoring mark and will look to add to her scoring frenzy and also get back down to state. Tenley was 1st Team IBCA All-State last season, She was also on the All-USA Illinois Girls Basketball Team by USA Today. She is currently ranked #8 in our rankings.
Profile:
Tenley Dowell is simply put an offensive lethal weapon, when she is on the court she is must see. Tenley skilled level is off the charts. She has a great smooth looking jump shot and every shot she shoots looks like it is going in. She has a slick tight handle and has an excellent hesitation that keeps defenders off balance. She plays with great pace and she attacks closeouts so easily and creates havoc for a defense with her penetration. She is an outstanding pick and roll player because of the outstanding pace she plays with as well as her third eye with the vision she has. Defensively she is long and has quick lateral feet and she is a team defender as well. She and Morton will look to head back to a state and finish off an astonishing high school campaign.

Why She Can Win:
Morton loss three Seniors to graduation but they are bringing back their team that went to state last year and is looking to get some revenge against State Champion Richwoods. Morton plays a challenging schedule against some great competition. Tenley will have a chance to showcase her amazing talents again and submit her legacy as one of the best players in Illinois history. Tenley is also a Butler commit.
