The only blemish on Princess Anne’s 19-1 record came from Maryland’s nationally ranked New Hope Christian Academy at the Boo Williams Christmas tournament, the Cavaliers are still very much the favorite to win the region. Being the top seed has advantages, Princess Anne is one of 2 sites to host to the region quarterfinals (Tuesday, Feb. 19)
Coach Darryl Moore and his Kempsville High Chiefs finished as the No. 2 seed and will host to the other 4 team quarterfinal (Wednesday, Feb. 20 )
The quarterfinal winners will meet on the “Big Stage” (Saturday, Feb. 23) at Norfolk’s Scope Arena for the semifinals and the Regional Championship (Tuesday, Feb. 25).
