Wing scorers seem to be at a premium in this class, but there are several young ladies listed below who had big-time Freshmen seasons in 2018-2019. Below we take a look at the Top-10 2-Guard prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2022.

It will be hard to dethrone Jessica Carrothers of Crown Point High School as the #1 prospect in this position group anytime soon. The strong and athletic combo guard had an outstanding Freshman season, and she’s one of the most productive players in the 2022 class. She is a capable outside shooter, but she’s one of the best I’ve seen at attacking the basket and drawing contact, often earning herself trips to the charity stripe. She plays with a tremendous motor, and she’s an equally tough-nosed defensive player as well.
Bloomington High School South’s Kendall Harmon had an outstanding Spring, as she has really improved in the last year and become a legitimate threat whether she’s handling the ball or burying shot after shot from the perimeter. On the ball, she has a keen sense of her surroundings and rarely makes mistakes, but off the ball, she’s one of the class’ best pure shooters, and with range. She should significantly step up her output this Winter with the graduation of Addy Blackwell.
Columbus East High School’s Koryn Greiwe is another guard who put up significant scoring numbers as a Freshman in 2018-2019. She is a strong, physical combo guard who is really quick with the ball as she creates space to shoot or go by defenders. She is a very good perimeter shooter, but she’s another guard who is solid at getting defenders on her hip and earning repeated trips to the free throw line.
One wing guard who I don’t see much written about but is due some credit, is Ella Wolfe of Tipton High School. She is a long, fluid, and fairly athletic kid who knifes through defenses and finishes around the basket. She is still growing into her body and figuring it all out, but she looks so much more determined and physical than she did during the high school season. As she continues to gain strength and enhance her skillset, I look for her to make a big jump over the next year.
