We call them Brand New Prospects, meaning, they are girls who impressed us and we believe may be worthy of playing college basketball at some level. We watched games in about 5 different gyms that weekend and we believe these names are the ones that should be coaches reports sent out to schools.
2021, 5’11, SG, Franklin HS (OR), Team Concept, Oby Nwokoma was dynamic on the flloor, she shot the ball pretty well watching her, also drove to the basket with conviction and could finish thru traffic. Good size for a guard, most would probably say she is a forward, but she moves like a point guard on the floor. Was great to watch her on the floor, we look forward to seeing her team again in Vegas maybe.
2022, 6’0, C, Winifred HS (MT), Team 406, Madeline Heggem was an interesting athlete on the floor, had the size, used it well in the paint to rebound. Had an uncanny way of rebounding and finding the ball, she got putbacks, ran the floor well and was a good teammate.
2022, 6’2, C, Rangeview HS (CO), Colorado Elite Blue, Amya Winfrey had some great size and could run the floor and finish, we really like her size, she has a chance to play at the next level, rebounded well and blocked a few shot.
2020, 6’4, C, Cole Valley Christian HS (ID), Idaho Flash Red, Madeline Cooke is a stud, she was a shot blocker, she ran the floor and she was pretty good at putting back missed shot off the rebound. Great attitude on the floor and was a willing teammate and made the right play each and every time on the floor.
2020, 6’1, SG, La Salle Catholic College Prep (OR), North West Stars 17U Navy, Lindsay Drango was a gifted wing type player that could play inside and out. Was a do it all player on the floor.
2022, 6’0, C, Issaquah HS (WA), Team Pacific , Mercedes Tinder is another center with some great skills and could block some shots on the run. Ran the floor well and also got some key putbacks for her team.
