Again we are putting these out to show that our evaluations have been assisting these girls in their recruiting efforts, many have receive offers and we believe we had something to do with that from our stories and evals. We are gonna list some girls we talked about in July and some we have not, but it will all work out, because everyone loves a good eval story on this site. Here we go with the evals….
2021, 5’9, SG, Troop West Black, Grace Brethren HS, Abria Laue is quite a specimen, we first saw her in the CIFSS Division 5AA Finals two seasons ago. She carried her team to the Championship title in that game by some remarkable play. She got to the rim anytime she needed to, work her three point game and had a nice floater as well going to the basket. She was the point guard in that game and it was great to see her take over in that contest. She is quite athletic and one of the toughest kids on the floor.
2022, 6’7, C, PInnacle HS (AZ), Cal Sparks 16U EYBL, Kennedy Basham is a semi-skilled post player with a long lanky body type, runs the floor with great strides, has soft hands and can finish around the rim. Utilizes the glass around the rim, keeps her defender on her hip to finish around the rim, willing screen and roll type player and can back seal and receive the pass over the top.
2022, 5’4, PG, Cal Storm EYBL, Jyah LoVett is a strong, crafty, quick point guard that demands you guard her, cause she is going to score on you. She will lull you with her change of direction, then her change of speed and then she is laying the ball up, before you can stop her. She is a coaches dream, runs the offense to her coaches liking and can get a bucket at will, no matter who is guarding her.
2021, 6’5, C, Rolling Hills Prep HS, Cal Sparks 17U EYBL, Clarice Akunwafo is another developing big with great upside in her future. She has a very solid body type, meaning she has a college body rigtht now. She has great finishing abilities under the rim, tough and aggressive as a center on the floor. She is a bully down low and her high school puts her at the top of the press to make you throw the ball over her for a steal. Clarice is still learning to finish thru contact and sometimes need to learn how to throw back out of the double-team. She is the second most skilled center in California at this moment.
