The players listed below were the most outstanding prospects from the game.
Journey Armstead | 2022 PG | Sand Springs
Journey Armstead passed the ball well about her teammates, helping the Sandites to score and drive Sand Springs’s half-court offense. Armstead also passed the ball well in the full court. She also was impressive shooting the ball out-of-the-dribble. Altogether, Armstead was possible the most athletic, skilled and intelligent player on the floor for the Sandites last night as she led all scorers with 23 points.
Baylee Fincher | 2020 PG | Ponca City
Baylee Fincher finished the ball extraordinarily well at the rim, and she was also one of the best defenders on the floor. Her ability to stay in front of ball-handlers was a testament to her athleticism, primarily her lateral speed. Fincher was great about turning defense into offense and helped to keep Ponca City in the game late. She finished with 8 points.
Ryley Beard | 2020 W | Ponca City
Ryley Beard was one of the brightest points for the Lady Wildcats and one of the most talented shooters of the evening. She knocked down a 3-pointer early and shot 90 percent from the line to finish with 10 points in the loss.
Sophia Regalado | 2023 F | Sand Springs
Sophia Regalado was fantastic in escaping behind the Ponca City defense and stealing easy buckets from the adversary. Despite coming off-the-bench, Regalado proved to be one the most productive players for the Sandites.
Hailey Jackson | 2023 W | Sand Springs
Hailey Jackson tied for second-leading scorer in the game with 12 points, behind a great performance from the inside and mid-range games. She has exceptional footwork and is great at flashing to holes in the defense before sinking shots.
