The Rams defeated the Silver Hawks 83-64. Jayla Woods, CO 2021 Shooting Guard, led the Rams with 20 points, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Keegan Brace, C/O 2021 Point Guard, led the Silver Hawks with 20 points, 8 assists, and 3 steals.
The Rams started the game by putting on a shooting clinic, hitting seven (7) threes in the first quarter alone. The Rams showed a depth in talent as any player on the floor has the ability to score. The Silver Hawks struggled offensively due to the box and 1 defense the Rams implemented on Brace. They limited Brace’s touches and double teamed her frequently to get the ball out of her hands. Going into halftime the Rams led 41-34.
In the third quarter, Brace stepped up offensively and was able to penetrate through the defense and get to the rim. Brace is a relentless point guard that can play through contact. Although she scored eight (8) points in the third quarter it still wasn’t enough for the Silver Hawks to gain the led. They trailed by nine (9) going into the fourth quarter.
In the third quarter the Rams never looked back. The Rams were able to pressure full court defensively and converted the forced turnovers into points. The defensive show that the Rams put on was quite impressive. They held the Silver Hawks to only ten (10) points in the fourth quarter. Offensively the Rams were just too much for the Silver Hawks scoring twenty (20) points in the fourth quarter. The Rams remain undefeated this season and has a roster full of talent. J. Woods, 5’7 SG- Player of the Game
20 points, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks
Woods is going to be a nightmare for opposing teams. Woods is an athletic floor leader that can flat out shoot the ball. She knows how to finish in traffic and distributes the ball at a high level. Defensively she plays amazing on the ball defense, she got multiple steals in the one on one set.
M. Monzon, 5’8 PG/SG
Monzon is a guard with superior handle and great shooting ability.

Gallon is an elite shooter with range.

Boddie plays at a high level on both sides of the ball. She was defensive nightmare for opponents.
