What can I say about Cy Creek that I haven't said, one of the best backcourts in the country with a couple of 2021 players Rori Harmon and Kyndall Hunter, I called D1 Locks in elementary that helped lead them to state as freshmen, Tyler Jackson made a Tip Sheet in middle school with a Katy team and D1 signee Morgan Hill's continuous improvement but after seeing the score in the championship game, they defeated defending R3 6A champ Summer Creek 73-56, I'm definitely sorry I missed that game because although I have them as the top two teams in the area, the heat on D from Summer Creek, as well the initials, SC, gave them the edge. None of that nonsense matters, the game is played on the court and I hear that Hunter was unconscious from outside dropping 30 plus
In the third-place game, Cedar Park, one of the favorites to win 5A in R3 defeated Cibolo Steele, one of the favorites in R1 6A 62-40 and I definitely wish I had seen that game but they were played at separate venues at the same time so there was no way I could've seen both. I usually attend the FBISD Tournament on Saturday but due to lingering whatever, I decided to take some much-needed rest which is I'm bombarding you with articles as I play catch up, but don't fret. I attended two days at the Texas Invitational and I'll break it down like this

Top freshmen

Top players

UNDER THE RADAR players from various classes

Takeaways

And who knows, I may just say abracadabra and conjure up something new, next up, Katy Tournament and I still have a lot from the Girls Texas Jamboree to share
