They make promises to themselves – anywhere from losing weight to taking trips. My resolution will be to see these prospects play in 2020.
Cameron Grant (2020, PF, Macomb Dakota)
Grant has been a prospect that I’m very high on for years now. Her versatility has always made her stand out. Grant can guard multiple positions and is matchup nightmare on the offensive end.
Delayna Osko (2020, SF, Imlay City)
Osko was hit by the injury bug and then moved so we haven’t seen her on the floor in a bit. But we shouldn’t forget – she has plenty of talent. Osko is a threat off the wing and could make noise in the second half of the season.
Abrie Cabana (2021, PG, Grass Lake)
If you like to watch poised floor generals, Cabana is the prospect for you. Her basketball IQ and in her in game decision making puts her on another level. Cabana can create for herself and her teammates and will always hit the open player with a crisp pass.
Ciara Hardy (2021, CG, Romulus)
Last year it was obvious that Hardy had all the physical tools – size, speed, strength. She’s began to put it all together and define her game over the last year. Hardy excels in transition, where she can lead a break or finish off the wing.
Alaina Diaz (2022, G, Hudsonville)
Diaz has a brilliantly exciting game. She’s so fast and in such outstanding physical condition, that she at times just wears her opponents down. Diaz uses her speed and quickness well in the open floor.
Allie Walther (2022, G, Schoolcraft)
I believe that Walther has a very high ceiling for improvement. She moves well on offense and hits her jumper with consistency. Walther is a bona fide gym rat who is willing to put in the work needed to be great.
