Paige Fowler, 5’9, G/F, 2021, Herculaneum
A two-way player who can handle the ball, play on the perimeter as well as inside. She is a confident player with the ball in her hands and makes smart moves and looks to score quickly or get to the free throw line. A competitive combo player who is strong, has good hands and moves well with and without the ball. Fowler is averaging 19 points per game along with seven rebounds and close to two steals.
Hannah Marcee, 5’11, F, 2021, St. James
A como player who can make noise on both ends of the floor both as a scorer and defender. Marcee has good size and can use her shoulders to feel for space and score. She has the ability to score from the perimiter but that’s not her game. She prefers high percentage shots and is good at scoring while defenders are doing everything they can to contest the shot. Marcee is averaging a team-high 15 points per game while shooting above 50 percent from the floor. She’s also averaging a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game and two steals and two blocks.
Peyton Starks, 5’10, G/F, 2021, John Burroughs
An athletic player who has good length and a feel for the floor. She has good playmaking ability and can get touches and score around the basket and can also hit jump shots. A smart guard who can make plays in a variety of ways. Averages 15.6 points per game and is shooting 51 percent from the field and 68 percent from the free throw line, hitting 15-22 through five games. She is averaging 5.8 rebounds and one steal a game.
Ellie Vazzana, 5’11, F, 2021, Incarnate Word
A productive player who brings size, speed, length and smart overall player. Vazzana can look sharp on both sides of the floor, but makes her biggest mark as an offensive threat who can stretch the floor and dominate the boards. After seven games Vazzana is averaging 17.4 points per game and is shooting 64 percent from the field. She’s also averages 5.3 rebounds and looks to block shots and protect the basket on the defensive end of the floor.
Kennedi Watkins, 5’11, F, 2021, Marquette
Watkins is an excellent athlete who showcases great speed, agility and flexibility around the basket and in full court situations. She’s a speedy forward who plays big but also can create for herself. She’s averaging 16 points per game. She gets to the free throw line a lot and is doing fairly well, hitting 31-51 for 68 percent. Watkins is second on Marquette in rebounds averaging 8.7 per game and also adds two steals and four assists per game. She is coming off a strong offseason competing with the Missouri Phenom and drew her first offer from SEMO over the summer.
