What is the biggest strength of your game?
Gabby Fogarty
I think one of the biggest strengths in my game is I’m pretty versatile and I’m also pretty big and long for a guard.

You just committed to Lawrence Tech. How does it feel?
Gabby Fogarty
It feels amazing that I have committed. It’s taken a lot of stress off of me.
Question
What was it that made Lawrence Tech the right choice?
Gabby Fogarty
LTU just felt like home, all the girls and coaches were so welcoming and nice. LTU is also close to home and has what I am looking to study which is nursing.

What are you most excited about as far as college basketball?
Gabby Fogarty
I’m excited for the next level of ball. The high speed and the new challenges it will bring me.

What are your goals for this season?
Gabby Fogarty
My goals for this season is to help my team win while also growing my game and becoming a better player.

Who is the toughest player that you’ve ever matched up with?
Gabby Fogarty
One of the tougher players I’ve had to match up with would be Emma Trombly. She’s a little bit taller than me and really strong and physical. She’s a super good player and plays for Port Huron High School.

What would you tell a kid that wants to be as successful in the game as you’ve been?
Gabby Fogarty
I would tell a kid if they want to be successful then they just have to put the work in, because it won’t do it itself. Make sacrifices for the things you want most in your life.

Who’s the best teacher you’ve ever had? Why?
Gabby Fogarty
One of the best teachers I have had is Mrs. Schweiofer she was always there for me whenever I needed her, and also made learning interesting and more fun.
