5A Semifinals Breakdown

<b>1 Millennium vs 4 Gilbert</b> This game will be a State Championship rematch from last season between Millennium and Gilbert. Last year, Millennium beat Gilbert to win the 5A State Championship. This year, I think they will also defeat Gilbert and advance to the Finals once more. Gilbert has turned in an absolutely fantastic season, especially since many people did not expect them to bounce back in this manner! However, I believe Millennium is too tough and deep to defeat. Millennium advances to the State Finals. Prediction: Millennium wins by 21 Key Players: <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/ali-zelaya/">Ali Zelaya</a>, <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/trayanna-crisp/">Trayanna Crisp</a>, and <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/jasmine-singleton/">Jasmine Singleton</a> <b>2 Sunrise Mountain vs 3 Cactus Shadows</b> <b></b><span style="font-size: 1rem">Sunrise Mountain will face Cactus Shadows in the other match up of the Final 4. SM has really impressed me this season. I didn’t expect them to perform at this level this season but they have proven themselves time after time again. Cactus Shadows is a team I knew would make it to this point from preseason. I really think this game is going to be close and come down to the wire. Whenever I try and predict a game, I usually have certain principles I try to live by. One of those principles is: in a close game, trust the team with the best player on the floor.
