High school sports is all about rivalries. Every sport has them, both new and long standing in tradition. Some are fueled by location and others by events of the past. Teams may even develop a rivalry simply because both are successful.
Michigan high school basketball is no different. The great thing about the rivalries in this state is that they are built out of great games, respect, and often times even friendship. One factor remains constant: It’s the seniors that make the rivalries continue. They pass the experiences in these big games down to the other classes.
In honor of the big game tonight, we will look at some examples of rivalries in Michigan and a few seniors involved.

The PSL
I lumped the PSL into 1 rivalry because, let’s face it, every game in the Detroit PSL is big. The tradition and talent runs deep.
