<span style="font-size: 18pt"><strong>Class of 2022: Post Players to Know</strong></span>
<strong>A list of post players that were featured on the recent Class of 2022 rankings update! We’ve broken down their game and highlighted their strengths below. </strong>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="132374" first="Logan" last="Lowry"] | 6’0 | Appleton East</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">Lowry is a long forward who gets buckets from put back rebounds. She does an excelled job of running the floor. She plays super aggressive on offense. The power forward causes multiple turnovers in the paint. Lowry had 25 blocks this season for her team. </span>
<b>Jordana Resima | 6’2 | Brown Deer </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">A long post player who sees multiple blocks per game. She’s athletic and able to run the transition well. She can handle the ball and will run the offense or bring the ball up the court. This season she averaged 13 points per game, in a win over Milwaukee Bradley she scored 18 points. She shot 78% from the floor as well. A defensive specialist, she averaged 8.4 rebounds per game. Reisma has a nice jumper as well.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="132380" first="Kacey" last="Ott"] | 5’11 | Slinger</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">Ott is an ultra-athletic post player that has the ability to step outside with her guard-like handles. She has good footwork to fight around players in the block. She’s developed a strong jumper and an aggressive drop step. Ott is long and uses her arms well to block shots. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="155429" first="Grace" last="Schmidt"] | 6’1 | Watertown Luther Prep </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">Schmidt is a strong power forward who commands attention in the lane. She’s fierce with the ball and has good footwork in the lane. She’s a good post defender and uses her body well to contest and block shots. She led her team in rebounding with 14.1 per game. The Watertown Luther Prep standout averaged 23.4 points per game this season. </span>
<b>McKenna Monogue | 6’1 | Middleton</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">A powerful post player who runs the ball well in transition. She’s quick and dynamic- will shoot the open three and attack from mid range. She scored 37 three point baskets. This season, she averaged 7.4 points per game. In a win over Janesville Craig, Monogue scored 12 points. This season Monogue developed her passing ability. She averaged 2.3 assists per game. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="132378" first="McClain" last="Mahone"] | 5’10 | Lake Mills</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">A consistent role player who finds her open teammates. She distributes the ball well on offense. She creates a game for herself and moves without the ball. She uses screens and is ready to shoot off the pass. This season, she averaged 7.4 points per game. She’s made 28 three point shots during her sophomore campaign. She is also relentless on the boards. She averaged 4.5 rebounds per game. Mahone can guard multiple positions on the floor. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="132385" first="Rynn" last="Ruesch"] | 6’0 | Medford </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">Ruesch is a solid post player with good footwork on both ends of the floor. Fast in transition. Fights hard for position and finishes high on the glass. She is an all around offensive threat. She averaged 6.6 points Shot blocker. A workhorse on the floor, Ruesch averaged 28 minutes per game. She has the ability to take over a game and is consistent throughout. </span>
<b>Ellie Corragio | 5’11 | Brookfield Central</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">A fierce post player who plays with poise in the lane. Corragio uses her body well on offense to create space. Her footwork makes for crafty post moves on the block. She is an offensive rebounding specialist. This season she averaged 9 points per game for her team. In a win against Waukesha West, Corragio scored a season-high 18 points. </span>
