Long Beach Wilson Victorious – New Faces Perform On the Night..

<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><b>Leading Scorers for Long Beach Wilson:</b></span> &nbsp; <strong>2020, 6'1, SF, [player_tooltip player_id="49181" first="Samiya" last="Terry"]</strong> - Samiya is a player with great athleticism and leadership on the floor, she is the true leader on this team, but not always stated that way when they talk about Long Beach Wilson.  She is battle tested and one of the toughest girls on the floor, she can score and defend and that is what coaches like, two-way players.  She finished the game with 17 points. &nbsp; <strong>2021, 5'6, SG,[player_tooltip player_id="102669" first="Ashley" last="Hawkins"]</strong>  - Ashley is spunky and one of the teams forefront feature players.  She can shoot the ball, she can get to the rim, but I sometimes feel she needs to improve on the defensive side of the ball.  The team rallys around her most of the time and the coaches push her to be the leader of this group most times.  She can play, do not get me wrong, but we need to see her grow a little more in skill set.  She finished with 10 points in the game. &nbsp; <strong>2021, 5'10, PF/C, Jasmine Stone</strong> - Jasmine is the enforcer on the team, she mixes it up in the paint, sets screens and does all the thing that does not show up in the stat sheet.  She is skilled in the paint and uses her body and size well, she reminds me of a tough undersized center, that just gets the job done all the time.  Coaches take a look at this girl, she can play, she ended the game with 14 points. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Leading Scorers for Eisenhower: </strong></span> &nbsp; <strong>2023, 6’1, SF, Sa'lah Hemingway</strong>– she is definitely a player in our book, she is a big bodied forward type with a nice game to boot.  She can dominate in the paint with some good footwork and is tough as nails, when it comes to playing hard and going thru girls to get to the basket.  She is skilled and is improving with each and every game, sat down with her mom in the stands and watch this girl go to work, humble kid as well.  She had 13 points in this game. &nbsp; <strong>2021, 5’7, SG, Briana Lizardi</strong> – Briana is a tough kid that can shoot the ball from the midrange as well as the three ball, did not see her get to the rim much, but she is more than capable of that as well.  Nice body frame for a prospect and was quite agile on the floor and showed athleticism.  She is a bonefide shooter though, believe that.  She had 13 points as well in this game. &nbsp; &nbsp;
