This article should address all of the questions College Coaches are asking about these kids in the evaluation. We know that these times of the Corona Virus Pandemic is trying and has changed the face of recruiting forever in my opinion. Hope you enjoy the evals.
2022, 5’10, SG, Oakridge HS, Teagan Brown Teagan Brown 5'10" | SG Oakridge HS | 2022 State CA – is a DIA (Do It All) Player Award Recipient on the floor, she gets the award this week because of her all around game she showed to me and all of the writers at the event. She works hard on every possession, shoots it very well, can defend and has a knack for putting the ball in the hoop. Crafty off the dribble and has a definite determination to make her team get victories, PERIOD.
2022, 5’7, PG, Saint Joseph Notre Dame HS, Talana Lepolo Talana Lepolo 5'7" | PG Saint Joseph Notre Dame HS | 2022 State CA – is a pass first type of point on the floor, her unselfishness is uncanny and she always make the right play. She led her team in assist for the past two years and is a great teammate. Do not get me wrong, Talana can score the ball, but this is not always on her mind, she is a true point guard.
2022, 5’9, SG, Lowell HS, Eli Ladine – blocks shots, handles the ball well, shoots it with consistency and will run you down on the break and pin your shot off the board. Very high IQ player with a ton of upside and I heard that she is already holding a scholarship offer from UC Irvine.
2022, 6’5, C, St. Marys Academy HS, Ashley Lewis Ashley Lewis 6'6" | C St. Marys Stockton | 2022 State CA – Ashley is that young big that everyone in the gym is pursuing to play with their program, she is agile, she runs the floor well and has decent hands catching the ball in the paint. If she seals you in the paint, you are done, she will finish over you and bump you out of the paint. She shoots the ball off the backboard which means someone has been working with her and she is a decent shot blocker. I believe she may get another inch or two and if she does, she is going to be a problem for most schools. Watch this girl on the circuit and she will be good.

– is a monster on the floor, she is relentless and tough and is going after every ball on the floor. She finishes at the rim with contact, goes to the rim with confidence and is quite athletic in her own right. Her shot is consistent out to the three line from what we saw, but her main purpose in the game is around the midrange to block. She seems to be one of the leaders on the floor in our opinion.
2022, 5’2, PG, Orangewood Academy, Kristal Caldwell Kristal Caldwell 5'3" | PG Orangewood Academy | 2022 State CA – Kristal is a firecracker, she is quick, she is strong, she is fearless on the floor and most cannot stay in front of her with the ball in her hands. She is a lefty, so she has a nice stroke from outside, she knocked down two three pointers in this game and got to the rim and finish thru contact.
2022, 6’3, C, Junipero Serra HS, Ava Carter Ava Carter 6'3" | C Junipera Serra HS | 2022 State CA – Ava surprised us with her play when we first saw her, we did not know who she was and we believed she was a senior because she was so mature looking. We watched her make shots, block shots and also run and up down the floor well for her size, it only added value to her stock to find out she was young. We believe she will be a major player in the Trinity League next year and beyond, a true find for a young developing center.
