This article should address all of the questions College Coaches are asking about these kids in the evaluation. We know that these times of the Corona Virus Pandemic is trying and has changed the face of recruiting forever in my opinion. Hope you enjoy the evals.
2022, 5’10, SG, Camarillo HS, Gabriela Jaquez Gabriela Jaquez 6'0" | SF Camarillo HS | 2022 State CA – Gabriela jumped 19 spots this season, she put in some major work for her high school as well as following up a great club season for Troop West Black. She put up some great numbers as followed; she averaged 20.3ppg and 13.3rpg for Camarillo and will continue to have great success hopefully for this next season after this Pandemic situation.
2022, 6’2, PF, St. Marys Academy (Los Angeles), Chloe Williams Chloe Williams 6'2" | PF St. Marys Academy (Los Angeles) | 2022 State CA – Chloe moved up 5 spots this season due to her solid work in the paint and on the boards. She is a terror on the floor and is developing her game as a wing that hand can handle the ball and shoot the three pointer. She has the size to dominate and is skilled in the paint, excellent rebounder and defensive threat.
2022, 5’6, PG, Rosary Academy, Kaylee Byon Kaylee Byon 5'6" | PG Rosary Academy | 2022 State CA – Kaylee is the true scoring point guard that every coach would want to have, she is skilled, she is tough and is a defensive minded player, which means two-way player. She is a consistent shooter from all three level on the floor, love her floater game and he swag is so apparent as she handles the ball. Kaylee moved up 1 spot this rankings edition.
2022, 5’9, SF, Mater Dei HS, Soliel Montrose Soliel Montrose 5'10" | SG Mater Dei HS | 2022 State CA – Soliel is a force to be reckoned with on the floor, she showed her skill set and determination in the playoffs. She is very skilled for her age and a true leader on the floor, she has the personality that is ALPHA to all of her peers. She has a nice game inside the key, shoots the midrange consistent and is a tough as nail defender. Soliel moved up 19 spots in this rankings edition.
2022, 5’10, CG, Cathedral Catholic (San Diego), Taryn Johnson Taryn Johnson 5'11" | SG Cathedral Catholic | 2022 State CA – Taryn moved up 13 spots in this rankings edition and it is for good cause, she is a tough warrior on the floor. She already has a college ready body and she knows how to use it in the paint and also on the perimeter. She looks like a track star and she is quick and athletic and knows how to beat her defender off the dribble and finish, king of the mismatch.
2022, 5’3, PG, Bonita Vista HS (San Diego), Aubrey Valdez Aubrey Valdez 5'3" | PG Bonita Vista HS | 2022 State CA – Aubrey impressed us this season, she has been solid in every game we have seen her play in. She does not always start, but she comes in and helps the team each and every time she gets an opportunity. She shoots it well from three line, she can hit the midrange pull up and is a threat to get to the basket and can finish thru contact. Aubrey is also a good defender for her size, she can contain her opponent and keep them in front of her.
2022, 5’8, SF, Xavier College Prep HS, Trinity Skinner Trinity Skinner 5'8" | SF Xavier College Prep HS | 2022 State CA – Trinity first caught our eye her freshman year in the CIFSS play when she came into our gym and beat us. She hit midrange shots, she got to the rim, she knocked down a three or two, but we tried to stop her defensively and could not.
