Breanna Jefferson Breanna Jefferson 5'4" | CG Vista PEAK | 2022 State CO – Vista PEAK 2022
Vista PEAK has started to become a team that people are taking notice of as the wins are finally starting to come. In the last two seasons, they were able to hit 20+ wins. Last season was not bad, but this one was special because of where they were receiving help. The younger players stepped up. One of those players was Breanna Jefferson Breanna Jefferson 5'4" | CG Vista PEAK | 2022 State CO , and the writing has been on the wall that she was going to be a solid player. Jefferson excelled on JV as a freshman with the varsity team being loaded, but once she got the chance on varsity, she did not disappoint. In her first varsity season, she acted as the 6th man for the team with numbers of 9.6pts, 1.9ast, 1.8rebs, and 2stls a game, and also closed games out as the lead guard. Breanna is a player that is well on her way to being one of the top standouts in her class over the next two years and is a player to be on the lookout for.
Jordynn Conner Jordynn Conner 5'10" | SF Denver East | 2021 OK – Denver East 2021
Conner is a player that has shown consistent growth in the past couple of years for the East Angels. Her ability to jump into games and affect it as a leader has the East starting lineup as one of the most dangerous in the state. Conner has consistently improved on her stats from year to year and has been pivotal in the Angels winning games as well. This past season was her best as she had averages of 12.7pts, 2.1ast, 9.5rebs, and 2.9stls a game. She was able to lead the team in every category except steals. As we get into her senior year, if she can progress in every stat and also show that she can help East win a few more games, she will be a highly sought after player by seasons end.
Brianna Linnear Brianna Linnear 5'8" | CG Rangeview | 2021 State CO – Rangeview 2021
Rangeview is a team that we watched a few times this season and came across impressed. They were a middle of the pack team that showed flashes of how great they can be if they all clicked at the same time. When Brianna Linnear Brianna Linnear 5'8" | CG Rangeview | 2021 State CO played well, Rangeview followed. The junior guard is as aggressive as they come on the defensive end of the floor and still has the energy to be productive on offense. This year Brianna put up numbers of 13.4pts, 4ast, 4.4rebs, and 3.3stls a game. Going into her senior year, she will be a player to watch as teams know that they have to slow her down. She has to be the same playmaker she was this season while also being the emotional leader because that is a bunch that can shock you.
Marina Boltz Marina Boltz 5'5" | PG Skyview | 2022 State CO – Westminster 2022
Westminster is not a team that is talked about too often, but they have themselves a baller over there that deserves some recognition. Marina Boltz Marina Boltz 5'5" | PG Skyview | 2022 State CO is a player that led her team to wins last season, and now a year older and wiser, she will be ready to turn more heads. The sophomore guard played sparingly as a freshman but was one of the best scorers in the class as a sophomore. Boltz put up 17.8pts, 1.8ast, 2.5rebs, and 3.4stls a game this season. Boltz has already made people take notice, especially with her play on the offensive end having nine 20+ point games this season. She scored from all three levels of the floor consistently and went at whoever was in front of her. With two years left to play, I can’t wait to see the growth and changes she makes to her game.
London Bachelet – Regis Jesuit 2022
Regis is a team known for its guard play, and that is what has separated them from the pack over the past few seasons. The next up and coming guard is London Bachelet. Bachelet is a sophomore guard that did not see much varsity time this season but learned a lot with that bunch. Despite not having huge numbers, she showed herself to be a playmaker that is capable of knocking down shots as well. She is a small guard that plays hard defensively and makes plays on that end of the floor.
