Tulsa Players On The Rise

Today we will take a look at the Tulsa area and players that are on the rise in the city.  We look at Jenks 6-0, athletic low-post scorer Kiara Brown along with some other stars like Broken Arrow’s [player_tooltip player_id="151316" first="Jada" last="Hytche"] and [player_tooltip player_id="160442" first="Taleyah" last="Jones"]. The two are among the best in the area and players that impress. <strong>Kiara Brown, PF/SF, 6-0, 2022, Jenks </strong>Brown is a player in the low post that uses her long and athletic 6-0 frame to her advantage both as a very tough defender/shot-blocker and as a scorer. Brown really does a nice job around the basket and is a tough matchup with her size and movement down low. <strong>Rachel Avedon, PG/SG, 2022, Bishop Kelley @imrachelavedon</strong> Avedon is a player that is one of the better-looking class of '22 guards in the Tulsa area. She had a fine sophomore season and will look to build on her great numbers next season. Avedon can drive and finish well at the basket.  She also shows a nice shot from 8-10 feet out and can handle the ball well.  Avedon has all the signs of being one of the area’s top '22 playmakers. <strong>Ellie Morrill, SG, 6-0, 2022, Owasso </strong>A super sophomore for the Rams and a player on the rise in the Tulsa area, Morrill is a good one. The 6-0 guard is very tough to defend against/ She has good range and can shoot from three and beat you down low. She is a player that does not mind being guarded closely and can usually still score it. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="151316" first="Jada" last="Hytche"], SG, 5-7, 2021, Broken Arrow @jada_hytche</strong> Hytche is a very smooth playing shooting guard that can make you pay from the outside. She has a smooth stroke and a is a player that makes the game look very easy. She moves well without the basketball and is one of the better shooting guards in the Tulsa metro area.  A Tiger to know and watch for, Hytche is a good one from the outside. <strong>Taleyah  Jones, SG, 5-8, 2022, Broken Arrow </strong>Joins [player_tooltip player_id="151316" first="Jada" last="Hytche"] as two of the best shooting guards in the Tulsa area. Jones has a great touch from the outside but also can drive and score with quickness. Jones shows great ability to score from inside or out.  She is one of those players you really have to like in the ’22 class in Tulsa.
