In the upper state of SC, the Greenville/Anderson area, there are underclassmen that are on the verge of being very good if they continue to work and have the right attitude. Here are a few players from the Greenville/Anderson County area to keep an eye on in the coming years.
Courtney Baldwin C/O 23
Baldwin is a 6’1″ forward for Crescent High school in Iva, SC. Baldwin has potential. She thinks well on the floor and understands her shooting spots. She is aggressive and can mix it up in the paint. I’ve seen her grab the rebound and lead the break with ease. She passes the ball well and understands what she sees on the floor. With her height, I think she will be a tough presence on defense. She is still young and will grow in that area. Overall the future is bright for Courtney Baldwin.
Olivia Randolph C/O 24
Randolph is a 6’1” center for Westside High School in Anderson, SC. Randolph is a very good defensive player. She causes issues for opposing offenses. Opponents have a hard time getting clean looks not only in the paint but on the perimeter. She is athletic enough to run out to the 3 point line and contest shots! She can run the floor as she is very athletic. Randolph is very impressive. As her offensive game develops, she will be a major star in the state.
Mallory Bruce Mallory Bruce 5'11" | SF Travelers Rest | 2021 State SC C/O 23
Bruce is a guard for Travelers Rest High School in Greenville, SC. Bruce is very instinctive and she reads passes and plays passing lanes well. Bruce moves well on the floor. She is elusive and understands how to get her shot off. She is more agile than most. She can crash the glass and get rebounds by instinct and athleticism. Bruce is a good player and I’m looking forward to seeing her develop over the summer!
Two C/O 24 players from Crescent High School in Iva, SC to keep an eye on in the next few years.
Jazel Harper-Guard 25ppg in middle school
