The Class of 2021 is stocked with talent! Let’s take a look into players who have had successful seasons and are on the list to watch heading into the summer.
Mackenzie Hogenson | Neenah | 5’9 SG
A strong guard who uses her body well to create space and score. She has good handles with the ball and sets the tone offensively. She’s ultra-athletic and averaged 11 points per game this season. In a game against Oshkosh West she scored 17 points. She has a quick release to her shot and made 50 three pointers this season.
Macy Stellner | Westby | 5’4 G
Stellner led her team this season with 14.8 points per game. She plays with a lot of composure on offense and finds her shot well. She developed her confidence beyond the arc this season making 31 three point baskets. She added 4.6 rebounds per game for her team. Stellner finished the season as a first-team all conference selection.
Julia Magnuson Julia Magnuson 6'0" | PF Mt. Horeb | 2021 State WI | Mount Horeb | 6’0 F
The strong forward led her team in scoring this season. She has a good feel for the game and makes strong cuts to get open. Magnuson sets hard screens and has good footwork facing the basket. In a win over McFarland, the junior scored 22 points for her squad.
McKenna Hurlburt | Durand | 6’1 F
The Durand standout led her team in both scoring and rebounding this season. She’s super athletic and runs the floor well in transition. She averaged 15.2 points per game this season. An inside scoring threat, Hurlburt is successful with her back to the basket. She is also a defensive specialist who averaged 7.8 rebounds per game.
Casey Jepson | West De Pere | 5’7 SG
The starting guard for her squad this season averaged 10.4 points per game. She has confidence on the perimeter and made 33 three point shots this season. She’s quick in transition and is a solid finisher under the basket. In a win over a tough Kaukauna squad, she scored 26 points.
Kayla Behnke | Kimberly | 5’11 PF
Behnke plays with a good feel for the game. She moves without the ball and finds open players on offense. She makes strong cuts and has good footwork inside the lane. She can handle the ball if she needs to and will help push the ball in transition.
Makayla Konrad | Mayville | 6’0 F
The strong forward led her team in rebounding this season with 9.6 per game. She does a fantastic job at fighting for position inside. She added 10.3 points per game for her team, which was second overall. In a win over Lomira, Konrad scored 19 points.
Alina Harmon | Neenah 2021 | 5’8 CG
Harmon is a strong and long guard who will also play the post position for her squad. She averaged 7.2 points per game. Harmon is primarily an inside scoring threat but will step beyond the arc and shoot a shot. She’s incredibly patient when finding her open shot. In a close game against Fond Du Lac, Harmon scored 17 points for her squad.
Graysin Hartjes | Kaukauna 2021 | 5’8 SG
The Kaukauna standout averaged 12 points per game this season for her team. Hartjes is confident beyond the arc and made 48 three point shots. The shooting guard has long arms and does a great job grabbing steals on defense. Hartjes finds her spacing well and has a good release to her shot.
