Lexi Moore – Owen County – 5’9” SG (#22 in Kentucky)
Lexi is a strong lefty guard who can get to the rim and knock down the midrange jumper. She has continued to improve her range and was pretty reliable from beyond the arc this season, shooting 38%. She averaged 16 points per game as a Sophomore. Not only can Lexi score, she has tremendous court vision as well. She led Owen County in scoring, assists, steals, free throw percentage, field goal percentage, and 3pt percentage. She was also second on the team in rebounding with an average of 7 rebounds per game. Lexi is a tremendous worker on the court and in the classroom and has a very high basketball IQ. She already has an offer from UPike and has a few other colleges interested. As Lexi develops and continues to improve, she will only receive more looks.
Lainey Watson Lainey Watson 5'6" | SG Campbellsville | 2022 State KY – Campbellsville – 5’6” SG (#46 in Kentucky)
Lainey is a pure shooter that can and will pull from anywhere on the floor. She broke the Campbellsville High School record by hitting 9 threes in 12 attempts on her way to 30 points late in the season. Lainey is extremely intelligent on the court and has a knack for being in the right spot. As a guard, she is a good rebounder because of her awareness and hustle. Lainey averaged 10.7 ppg and 3.6 rpg as a Sophomore. She is a multi-sport athlete (tennis and volleyball) and is a 4.0 student.
Callie Wiegandt Callie Wiegandt 5'5" | PG Holy Cross (Louisville) | 2022 State KY – Holy Cross (Louisville) – 5’6” PG (#50 in Kentucky)
Callie is a pure point guard. She handles the ball extremely well and knows how to get her teammates the ball. She has decent size to play the point. Callie is also a very active defender, especially on the ball. She is a tough competitor and her effort is never in question. Callie averaged 10.9 ppg and 4.4 rpg this past season. She is also a very talented volleyball player and will most likely receive looks in both sports.
Sierra Kemelgor Sierra Kemelgor 5'8" | CG South Oldham | 2022 State KY – South Oldham – 5’7” SG (#55 in Kentucky)
Sierra is one of those players that improved in almost every skill set over the last season. Her basketball IQ and willingness to be coachable is what moved her onto the rankings. She gets to the basket well and has good ball handling skills. She could eventually slide over to the point if she keeps improving her ball handling and court vision. As a Sophomore, Sierra averaged 9.6 ppg and 5.7 rpg.
