The class of 2021 is lead by Mallorie Haines Mallorie Haines 5'10" | SG Davidson Day | 2021 NC from Davidson Day School who has already committed to play her college ball at Davidson. Here are her teammates, and peers you should keep an eye on.
Jessie Wiles: The 5’9 small forward from Davidson Day should be on everyone’s radar. She is hard nosed, drive it to the paint and finds ways to score. She can finish going right, or left, and takes the contact. She is big and crafty enough you can post her against smaller defenders since she mostly plays on the perimeter. She does not shoot it particularly well from outside, but with her new coach coming in from the college ranks who always had good shooters, she has the right resources to help her improve in that area. Defensively she is long and active enough, she will take it from you. She already has a sister who plays at the next level, so she knows what it takes to get there.
Jaden Graham: The 5’6 point guard from Davidson Day is a another hard nosed driver who gets to the paint and makes good things happen. She is another one who can get in there right or left handed, take the contact and finish. She has a high IQ and makes plays for her teammates by making the defense collapse on her once in the paint. She is very strong so she can take a hit while driving and keep getting downhill with no delay, and dish off once she gets her feet in the paint. Also because of her physical strength she is not afraid to crash the boards, she is a pretty good rebounder for her size/position. She should be on someone’s college roster after her final high school season.
Jaden Stutts: The 6’0 power forward from Statesville Christian is a defensive threat. She is a long 3 sport athlete, who has potential to be an even better defender. She is on the boards at almost 7 per game, but where she is really good is blocking shots. Again her long athletic frame helps her challenge, alter, and block shots. She is raw, but with some more work she could be an even better defensive player and translate to the next level.
