We all know about Caileigh Walsh and Christina Dalce Christina Dalce 6'2" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2021 State NJ returning for their senior years. Here are some more of the key returning players that will keep the conference at a high-level of competition.
Meghan Pedrani (2022) | Somerville
Pedrani might be the biggest impact maker on the perimeter returning in 2020-2021. She scored 432 points and knocked down 59 three’s. Pedrani also averaged three steals per game. She is a difference maker on both ends of the floor.
Arianna McCleod (2021) | Bound Brook
McCleod had a big hand in leading Bound Brook to 26 wins in 2019-2020. She was second on the team in scoring behind Cameron Ward Cameron Ward 5'10" | PF Bound Brook | 2020 State NJ . With Ward moving on, McCleod becomes an extremely important piece. She has the ability to take over games on both ends and Bound Brook will need that next season.
Gissell Gamble Gissell Gamble 5'5" | PG Franklin | 2023 NJ (2023) | Franklin
Franklin is losing some of their top guns in Keona Schenck Keona Schenck 5'7" | CG Franklin | 2020 State NJ and Onoseta Ufuah. This leaves Gamble in a leadership role entering her sophomore year. Her first season showed that she is ready. She finished near the top of the team in nearly every statistic on both ends. Gamble has a high-ceiling and she will begin to reach it sooner than later.
Delaney Donohoe (2021) | Ridge
Donohoe fits in perfectly with the trend of strong forwards in the Skyland. She averaged over eight rebounds per game as a junior. Ridge is losing Sophie Beneventine and Taylor Smith Taylor Smith 5'7" | CG Ridge | 2020 State NJ which is a big hit, but Donohoe is the type of player that can take over any extra slack.
Nora Dornich (2022) | Belvidere
Dornich is a stretch four with great versatility. She can step out and shoot or play down low among larger defenders. Brieann Opdyke is moving on and that means Dornich will have even more responsibility. She will have the ball in her hands a lot and that is good news for Belvidere.
