Some good things came out of it, schools had to become better evaluators of tape and now they are sort of loving the situation, because it has now leveled the playing field for sports. If you were decent and had some good tape, you could get a scholarship to play at a low-to-mid major D1 school. So with that said, here we go, we will identify our favorites that will most likely be impact freshmen in college once they start playing.
2020, 6’3, PF. Chaminade Prepartory HS, Alexis Whitfield Alexis Whitfield 6'2" | SF Chaminade Prep | 2020 State CA – She stands 6’3 and is a sort of phenomenon on the floor, she is what now days we would call a player, “Point-Forward”. The reason for that name is because she is capable of handling the ball from the point guard position in the game as well as dominate you in the post too. She is a threat to score with every touch and Alexis is probably one of the most humbled girls on the floor. (Committed to University of Washington)

2020, 5’8, PG, Sierra Canyon HS, Vanessa De Jesus Vanessa De Jesus 5'8" | PG Sierra Canyon | 2020 State CA – Showed she is a great point guard that can run a team and also get points for her team when needed. She always makes the right play and plays the game with multiple speeds of attack. Her pull up three ball is consistent and her drives to the rim are strong with finishes thru contact. She is also a willing defender that is able to contain her opponent from getting to the rim on her. Was very impressed with her game. (Committed to Duke)

2020, 5’11, CG, Oaks Christian HS, Taylor Donaldson Taylor Donaldson 5'9" | SG Oaks Christian | 2020 State CA – Taylor has always been a shotmaker, but thru the summer club season months she has just improved her shot tremendously over this past year. She can dribble hard at you and pull up in your face or take you off the dribble and stop on a dime and nail the shot, she is very dangerous on the floor either wide open or not. She is a killer from deep. (Committed to New Mexico State University)

2020, 6’3, PF, Brentwood HS, Abigail Muse Abigail Muse 6'2" | PF Brentwood | 2020 State CA – Abigail is special as well, she is very skilled in the paint with great footwork and style to her game, almost relentless with her pursuit of the ball to score. She is long, lanky and has a very high IQ on the floor, it was great watching her use the drop step with her right or left side and finish with both hands on the floor at will. Excellent footwork and a nice midrange game to boot. (Committed to Boise State University).

2020, 5’7, PG, Clovis North, Savannah Tucker Savannah Tucker 5'8" | SG Clovis North | 2020 State CA – Savanna is one of most fun to watch kids in the game today, I had never seen her play in person, saw tape, but man it was worth watching this girl entertain us. She is crafty with the handles, she is quick, she is slender and strong and has some great body control when it comes to making baskets at the rim. She can score from all three levels with consistency and not even flinch when handling her business on the floor. She was a star as we watched her play, she will definitely move up in the rankings in California, because trust me, she will be an impact player as a freshman in our opinion.
