Briontanay Marshall, Louisville Central – You can see Marshall has been putting in work on her shooting. She displayed her shooting range as she knocked down shot after shot from beyond the arc. She didn’t just stand behind arc either. She displayed a nice mid-range package as well. One of the things I was impressed with her making tough contested shots. Briontanay also put in work on the glass. Rebounding is effort and a desire. She displayed that in The Classic tournament. I can see her averaging a double double at Louisville Central this season.
Keaton Hall, Model – Keaton looked physically stronger in her last tournament. Her strength showed when she battled for rebounds against bigger players. For a guard she rebounds well. Hall displayed a good shooting touch from deep and mid-range. Her release was very quick. Defensively she did well guarding multiple positions. Keaton mixed it up a couple times with post players on defensive rotations fighting to get in front and not allowing them to seal her. Her ball handling looked good. If she continues to put in work she can easily increase her average from last season. Keaton has heard from a couple D2 schools.
Tamesha Dozier Tamesha Dozier 6'1" | C Butler | 2022 State KY , Butler – Dozier displayed that she isn’t just a post player. She showed that she can play on the wing a little. Her ability to take players off the dribble was impressive. She has room to grow in that area, but she is not far off. She got out and guarded opponents guards on a few switches and held her own. In my opinion what makes her valuable is her ability to start the break when she rebounds. She showed that she has decent decision making abilities. I am looking forward to seeing if she can develop more into a stretch 4 this season. If so, I can see big things for her.
Kadence Walls Kadence Walls 5'7" | SG Bardstown | 2022 State KY , Bardstown – Walls is a tough crafty player on both ends of the floor. Kadence is the sister of former Nelson County star and current Bucknell player Marly Walls. Like her sister, Kadence has a nose for the ball. She will give up her body to take charges. Her prowess on defense gets her a lot of steals that lead to scoring opportunities. Walls, can knock down shots from beyond the arc. I would like to see her get stronger with her left hand dribble. Other than that she is truly a game changer. She loves to win and competes no stop. Standing at 5’7″ she can play on or off the ball.
