Taylor Christmas Taylor Christmas 6'2" | PF Southwest DeKalb | 2021 State GA | 6’0” | F | Georgia Metros Navy | 2021
Christmas (Featured Image) is a consistent interior presence in large pater to her motor. She has a wide frame and can play physical on the interior on both sides of the ball. She scored around the rim and showed a nice jumpsuit knocking in a couple from the baseline and a three from the top of the key. I was impressed with her rim protection, where she showed good timing on her shot challenges and picked up 5 blocks. In a world where post players are in short supply she is a prospect to add to your board.
Autumn Phillips Autumn Phillips 5'6" | PG Langston Hughes | 2021 State GA | 5’7 | PG | Team Elite Mann
Phillips got off to a slow start, but she really flipped the switch in the second half where she scored 15 of her 17 points. She has a shiftiness to her game that makes it a challenge for defenders to stay in front of her. She has continued to show that she has the ball on a string and can put together some effective dribble combos to get by defenders on the way to skilled and athletic finishes. Her three point shooting has improved since I last saw her. She knocked in two from deep using good catch and shoot mechanics. She is a pesky defender as well.
Jada Brigman | 5’8” | G | Team Curry | 2022
Brigman is a physical, athletic wing and used her strong frame to muscle defenders and get to the rim. She seemed to have a power forwards mentality in a guards body. She snatched seven rebounds against some good size inside. Her strength also kept perimeter player from making paint touches causing many forced or contested shot attempts. she was most effective offensively at the rim but still showed she could score behind the arc with a catch and shoot three.
Journee McDonald | 6’0 | SF | Team Curry | 2022
McDonald showed a lot of versatility tonight. She has both aggressiveness and toughness on the offensive end of the floor. She showed good skill on her touches including elite shoulder fakes into fadeaway jumpers more than once. She initiated her own offense multiple times after grabbing rebounds and finished well around the rim. She also knocked down a three from the top of the key. She has a great body and even better motor.
Jada Session Jada Session 6'1" | PF Luella | 2021 State GA | 6’1 | PF | Team Elite Dave | 2021
Watching Sessions tonight gave me even more insight Into her game. She competed well against a loaded Team Curry team. She plays the game with a consistent energy and effort. She showed that she has a nice handle at the power forward position, demonstrated by multiple coast to coast pushes in transition after grabbing boards and putting it on the deck in the half court. She was very active around the rim once shots went up and picked up nine rebounds. She is a competitor in every situation no matter the score or time left on the clock. She is another post in the state that can add value to many college programs.
