Ashlyn Watkins Ashlyn Watkins 6'4" | PF Cardinal Newman | 2022 State #11 Nation SC : The 6’3 center from Cardinal Newman high school is a name most of us already know, and she had 16 double-doubles last season as a sophomore. She is a force to be reckoned with whenever she steps on the court. She is a highly recruited prospect with 2 seasons left to go. She averaged 16 and 11 in her sophomore season, shot 66% from the floor, and 7 different games where she grabbed 14+ rebounds. She is crafty around the rim, finishes in a variety of ways, and she has been known to throw it down. Watkins is a great athlete and player, who we will see on a big stage here soon. She plays AAU for the SC 76ers organization.
Zoe Hawkins Zoe Hawkins 5'9" | PF North | 2022 State SC : The 5’8 guard from Denmark-Olar HS had 11 double-doubles this last season as a sophomore. Hawkins recently decided to transfer over to the Vikings from North HS. She averaged right at 11 points and 10 rebounds per game this last season. There were only 6 games she played in where she did not score in double-digits, and 4 games where she did not grab double-digit rebounds. She has potential to make a college roster in 2 years, if she keeps working hard, she is a big fish in a small pond.
Tyra Myers Tyra Myers 5'6" | PG Hammond | 2022 State SC : The 5’6 guard from Hammond high school had 10 double-doubles this last season as a sophomore. She also is already a 1K point scorer and 500 rebound grabber, as well as an all-region selection. She might be small, but she gets in there and battles. She is a high IQ player, and averaged nearly 20 points per game as a sophomore, along with nearly 10 rebounds, and 4 assists and steals. She gets downhill quickly and can score in the paint, she also shoots the 3 ball pretty consistently at 36% on this last season. She is crafty with the ball in her hands, has tight handles. She will be a good pickup for someone.
Lily Wickiser: The 5’7 guard from New Covenant school had 10 double-doubles this last season as a sophomore. She averaged 12 points and rebounds per game this last season. She can score in bunches, with 6 different games scoring 19+ points, and there were only 5 games where she did not grab double-digit rebounds.
