Her length and aptitude on defense were showcased, as she is a long, stringy athlete with great court instincts that showcases this on both ends of the floor. Had 4 points and 3 rebounds for the Stars.
Donovyn Hunter Donovyn Hunter 5'10" | PG South Medford | 2023 State #26 Nation OR 2023 5’10″ PG Cal Stars/South Medford HS – Donovyn has shown the ability to make a difference with whatever combination of players are out on the floor, playing either point guard or combo guard. She plays at a calm tempo, but knows when to put emphasis on pace. Defensively, she is always engaged within the halfcourt trap and has active hands. Finished with 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Audrey Roden Audrey Roden 5'9" | SG West Linn | 2021 State OR 2021 5’9″ SG Cal Stars/West Linn HS – Roden played her usual high motor game, playing at a blistering pace and was effective in finding others in scoring position. On a fast break, she picked up a steal and threw a no look, behind the back pass to a trailing Addison Wedin Addison Wedin 5'11" | PG La Salle | 2021 State OR . She is an above average rebounder who isn’t afraid to scrap for boards. Finished with 2 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
Aaronette Vonleh Aaronette Vonleh 6'3" | C West Linn | 2021 State #76 Nation OR 2021 6’3″ C Cal Stars/West Linn HS – Vonleh – the simple but effective low post presence can get it done swifty or with force, had a nice combination of the two for the Stars. She traditionally likes to drop step and bring defenders along with her to the rim but has shown quite a bit of finesse as of late. Contributed 9 points for the Stars.
Calli Stokes Calli Stokes 6'0" | SF Redondo Union HS | 2021 State CA 2021 5’11″ SG Cal Stars/Redondo Union HS – The Gonzaga commit plays a poised, consistent game every competition, as she is one of the most dynamic isolation scorers on the West Coast. Her length and guard skills are something to take note at, as she is highly efficient on her scoring trips down the floor. She is also a brute rebounder that is highly productive on the glass thanks to her size. She had 8 points and 6 rebounds for the Stars.
Marley Langi Marley Langi 6'0" | SF Archbishop Mitty | 2021 State CA 2021 6’0″ SF Cal Stars/Archbishop Mitty HS – One of the most complete and collected players in California, Langi knows how to play both ends of the floor. She can make others better around her and make highlight individual plays, she is the definition of balance and skill. Langi likes to jump stop on her way to the basket, pump fake and catch defenders off balance and finish. She can always finish off either hand and either foot. Had 12 points, 2 assists, and 4 steals.
Talana Lepolo Talana Lepolo 5'7" | PG Saint Joseph Notre Dame HS | 2022 State CA 2022 5’7″ PG Cal Stars/St Joseph Notre Dame – Talana is a steadfast guard who leaves defenders in the mix cycle, as they find it difficult to keep up with the NorCal native and for good reason. She moves with a slippery tempo and has a fluidity that is hard to match and has different ways to finish at the basket. Excellent facilitator that threads the needle so easily. Finished with 8 points and 6 assists for the Stars.
Jordan Allred Jordan Allred 5'8" | PG Miramonte | 2021 State CA 2021 5’8″ SG Cal Stars/Miramonte HS – The Idaho commit had one of her biggest outputs for the Stars this summer, as she contributed 8 points and 2 steals in an efficient manner. She hit two three’s and had a nice finish in the paint, but she is also a defensive leader who makes plays for her teammates, such as diving on the floor. A true essence of excellence and consistency on the floor on both ends.
Addison Wedin Addison Wedin 5'11" | PG La Salle | 2021 State OR 2021 5’11″ SG Cal Stars/La Salle HS – Wedin as of late, has shown that she can play a rugged game inside the paint and is a great finisher at the rim who isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves. A team oriented defender who plays her role as an aggressive defender who helps close in on opposition and creates turnovers. She contributed 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal for the Stars.
