Today, we take a look at the No. 10 player in the PGHM 2021, 2022 and 2023 rankings.
Chorus Davis Chorus Davis 5'8" | CG Lincoln Prep | 2021 State MO 5’8 Lincoln Academy (No. 10 in 2021): Chorus is a physically strong combo guard who has the ability to score at all three levels. She is a very effective slashing threat who finishes well in the lane with either hand. She has a nice spin move and a hesitation move that she executes well in the open court. She can knock down the 3-pointer if defenders give her space. I like her defensive activity as her active hands and active feet lead to a lot of deflections. She will also utilize her quickness to get into the passing lanes. She played for Blue Star Next Level Eclipse during the summer.
Addison Brownfield 5’9 Boonville (No. 10 in 2022): One of the top underclassmen in Mid-Missouri, she is a good-sized point guard with height and physical strength. She is tough with the ball against pressure and she can get to wherever she wants to go on the floor. She has a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range. She can shoot the ball off the catch of shoot off the dribble with a nice step back move. She does a good job of getting her feet set on her escape moves. She is a resourceful offensive player who can score in the lane on post ups and good cuts to the basket. She plays with excellent pace with good moves in the open court. Brownfield played with MO Phenom 16U during the summer.
Brooklyn Rhodes Brooklyn Rhodes 6'0" | PF Whitfield | 2023 State MO 6’2 Whitfield (Top 10 in 2023): A long and athletic forward who averaged a double-double as a freshman in helping the Warriors to a Final Four berth in the Class 3 state tournament. She is a tremendous defensive player with the versatility to impact every position on the floor. She can play at the top of a zone press and be disruptive with her length and athleticism. She can play the passing lanes for steals while also patrol the paint with her shot blocking. She has good footy in the low post on offense with a nice touch out to 15 feet and a knack for offensive rebounding. Her upside is pretty substantial.
