Here is a look at some of the top prospects from the game, in which the KC Running Angels took a 65-59 victory.
Indya Green Indya Green 5'11" | PF Kickapoo | 2021 State MO 5’10″ (KC Running Angels): The 2021 forward from Kickapoo was a force in the paint with game highs of 26 points and 14 rebounds. She is a versatile post player with good footwork and a nice lefty touch off the glass around the basket. She is also a good secondary ball handler who can take bigger defenders off the dribble and make sound decisions with the ball. She is also a very active offensive rebounder with a quick second jump to get put-backs. She also is a very good screener who really seeks the contact
Khloe Moad Khloe Moad 6'2" | SF Ash Grove | 2022 State MO 6’2″ (MO Phenom P-Will): A versatile 2021 forward from Ash Grove who plays more of a finesse game and is very effective at it with her skill set. She finished with a team-high 16 points and four rebounds in the game. The mobile lefty was very good on the drive when she caught the ball at the high post. She was at the basket in one dribble with her long stride. She could stretch the floor well from 3-point range with her shooting on the pick-and-pop. She also has a nice touch around the basket. She has picked up multiple Division I offers in recent weeks.
Emma Perry Emma Perry 5'9" | SG Liberty North | 2021 State MO 5’8″ (KC Running Angels): The 2021 wing from Liberty is a terrific 3-point shooter who scored 16 points, which included four of eight from 3-point range. She has excellent range and a quick release. She moves well without the ball as she knows how to use screens and flairs to get herself open.
Laini Joseph Laini Joseph 5'10" | CG Cameron | 2021 State MO 5’9″ (MO Phenom P-Will): A versatile 2021 combo guard from Cameron who recently gave a verbal commitment to Northwest Missouri State. She finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists. She’s a physically strong guard who is just as effective in the low post against smaller guards as she is on the perimeter with her overall skill set. She has a very effective step-back jumper to go along with some good takes to the basket.
Ramiyah Logan 5’6″ (KC Running Angels): A 2023 point guard from Hogan Prep who is playing two years up, but she handles the position like a veteran with her poise and savvy with the ball. I like how she organized the team and made sure her teammates were in the right spots, even pointing them to where they are supposed to be. She has good handles while being a pinpoint passer with a high basketball IQ. The young lefty can also get into the lane and make plays with dribble penetration.
Giavianna Moore 5’6″ (MO Phenom P-Will): An energetic combo guard from William Chrisman who had an impressive motor on the defensive end. She really got down in a stance and made a great effort to keep ball handlers in front. Her on ball pressure was very good and consistent. She doesn’t force too many things on offense, but she displayed a nice step-back mid-range jumper and also knocked down a pair of Corner 3’s on back-to-back possessions.
