Continue ReadingI stress over and over that, I only write what I see, I know many evaluators copy others works or have connections but I’m a one-man show because if something goes sideways, it’s on me so even though I actually have a crystal basketball that I look into sometimes, it’s dusty so I rely on myself yet sometimes, especially when I don’t have a roster, I ask for guidance from humans and sometimes, I get BAD information which happened with Precious Jackson-Sanders Precious Jackson-Sanders PF Aldine MacArthur | 2022 State TX who I caught a couple of years ago and was told she was a senior yet she was a freshman, go figure and one more time, this is why non-erroneous roster are important but so are these forwards not at the magic number but performed a little magic in front of me
Raeven Boswell Raeven Boswell 5'11" | SF Lake Travis | 2022 State TX -5’11 SF (Lake Travis HS) Cy Fair Premier
Boswell had on a “Go Canada” warmup the first time I saw her and that explained why I hadn’t seen her before yet she showed promise. A year later, I promise she took it to another level, and watching her just go completely off on both ends at the Cy Fair Premier Individual Showcase left me somewhat speechless. She’s long and athletic, plays the passing lane, and understands how to set defenders up, either to take them off of the dribble or pull-up for the jumper. she’s a good defender but her upside is what I’m looking
Brianna Wilson Brianna Wilson 5'11" | PF Akins Early College | 2022 State TX -5’11 PF (Akins Early College HS) Hays County Hornets
Wilson turned it on at the Duel State Girls Combine a week ago and showed me off the top her game was not weak as she showed power and strength in the paint as well as attacking the basket but as good as she was on opening day, she just took it to a different level, maybe she knew I was updating PGH or just maybe she wanted to show she was one of the top players at the event, I’m going with the latter and speaking ladders, I’m expecting even more as she has a shot to climb even higher
Sydney Dede Sydney Dede 5'9" | SF Taft | 2022 State TX -5’9 SF (Taft HS) San Antonio Lady Hoops
Dede’s older sister impressed me at the Tyrone Johnson Showcase and was added to the 2021 update, well I didn’t even know they were sisters and the baby showed she belonged. Not sure if is appropriate because at times it was like a woman against girls as she showed fire and determination on the inside with her “THROWBACK” battling and diving for loose balls. Yes she defends, yes she plays the passing lane but she also showed that she could score facing the basket, attacking the basket, and finishing with contact
Precious Jackson-Sanders Precious Jackson-Sanders PF Aldine MacArthur | 2022 State TX -5’11 PF (Aldine Macarthur HS) Rice Legacy Raptors
Johnson-Sanders was ranked 130 on the 2020 class so my adding her at the last minute is probably why she’s this low yet there will be another update later this year and I’ll be watching her closely. I’d almost call her “ultra athletic” because of her length, agility, and body control combined with speed and energy yet watching her play the passing lane at the Bigfoot Kingwood Classic as well as taking defenders off the dribble was just refreshing and as I right this wrong of having her in another class, I need to have correct info because I hate to write a doover
