Jalynn Bristow Jalynn Bristow 6'2" | SF Rider | 2023 State TX -6’2 (Wichita Falls HS) Team Lex Nation
Bristow is long and athletic, remember that’s the base yet the treble keeps the volume up as she can score off the dribble, the midrange or even the long-range consistently but her ability to just take defenders from anywhere and elevate over them while defying gravity is a sight to see as time seems suspended but that body control is only part of it, her stroke is smooth and effective, she has good timing on defense, blocks, deflects and alters shots, defends and rebounds and plays the passing lane
Shanel Reid Shanel Reid 5'10" | SF Austin | 2023 State TX -5’10 (Austin HS) Cy Fair Elite Bush 15U
Reid does quite a few things that could fall into the combo position at times, one of those things is that she sees the floor and handles the ball well, and with her size, those are positives that just add to the equation and let me not leave out her ability to leave defenders flat-footed by creating her shot adding a deceptive first step but it doesn’t stop there, her jumper is pure and she can drop it from deep
Chayse Goetz Chayse Goetz 6'0" | SF NB Canyon | 2023 State TX -6’0 (NB Canyon HS) San Antonio Lady Hoops 2023 Holmes
Goetz has been solid all season and was being added but after her showing in the recent Duel States Girls event, she showed me even more with her ability to create her shot under pressure. I already knew she could take defenders and shoot the three-ball but her shot selection, as well as setting defenders up, has risen, sort of like her elevating off the ground for the jumper yet her multitude of scoring options just keeps overly impressing me a she finds ways to put the ball in the basket
Kenzie Willis Kenzie Willis 5'11" | SF Sulphur Springs | 2023 State TX -5’11 (Sulphur Springs HS) HG Elite 2023
Willis uses every but of her athleticism on both of the court, she can man-up baseline to baseline as well in the halfcourt by moving her feet well and playing the passing lane but she can rebound well for her size, well more than well because even though she isn’t 6’0, the magic number, she plays as if she is and watching her attack the basket over and over and finish after contact against taller players along with creating her shot for the jumper is why she’s here
