Kenley Woods’ great passing turned heads on Friday night. She would push the ball in transition and float in passes to teammates making rim runs. Woods understands how to run an offense and plays at her own pace. She can thread the needle in the half court and set up easy baskets.
2021 6-0 PF Misia McKinney Misia McKinney 6'0" | PF Westlake | 2021 State GA – FBC NextUp Legacy – Westlake
McKinney led FBC with 12 points in a 48-43 win. She was hard to stop inside. McKinney finishes with either hand, scoring on three left-handed layups. She’s got the strength and physicality to score in a crowd. Her shot wasn’t falling, but she had some nice post spin moves that turned into clear fadeaway looks in the paint. McKinney did a nice job protecting the rim defensively, blocking two shots.
2022 5-11 F Camerah Langston – FBC NextUp Legacy – Westlake
Camerah Langston’s activity caused problems for the opposition. She aggressively attacked rebounds and used quick hands to frustrate the offense. She scored all 7 of her points in the second half and collected 7 rebounds, 5 steals and 1 block. Langston is a solid energy player that can score inside and defend multiple positions on defense.
2023 6-1 C Casey Miller – Georgia Jaguars 2022 – Woodstock
Transferring to Woodstock from Northside-Columbus, Casey Miller provides a big body and a noticeable interior presence. The lefty crashes the glass hard and can earn second chance opportunities. She can clog the lane on defense. Miller has some developing low post moves that will improve with more reps. Her addition will benefit Savannah Casey Savannah Casey 6'3" | PF Woodstock | 2021 State GA inside and help her swing out to the perimeter to create mismatches.
2023 5-7 Mya Giles – Georgia Jaguars 2022 – Northside-Columbus
An agile guard that can handle the ball, Giles handled pressure well and was able to attack the defense. She can score from multiple levels and has the quickness and length to get even better. She’s a solid prospect moving forward.
2023 5-5 G Faith Johnson Faith Johnson 5'4" | CG Lowndes | 2023 State GA – Georgia Jaguars 2022 – Lowndes
Johnson is a strong bowling ball of a guard that can overpower opponents when getting downhill. The lefty had a big year as a freshman leading her team in scoring at 14.5 points per game. She’s got the confidence to score from beyond the arc. Her low center of gravity helps her control the ball against pressure.
