Glue players are hard to come by, as these players usually sacrifice individual statistics for the greater of the team good. Today, we focus on shed light upon some of the best glue players of the 2022 glass and give them an introspective look - a bit of role reversal. [player_tooltip player_id="158529" first="McKenzie" last="Hirsch"] is an incredible team oriented forward who is the type to dive on the floor for an extra possession for her team. [player_tooltip player_id="207820" first="Mia" last="Skoro"] is a savvy guard who blends in with any combination/team that happens to a part of while she is on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="207825" first="Mya" last="Adams"] is a skilled guard who is also known as a scorer but finds ways to consistency be a part of a collective. [player_tooltip player_id="207822" first="Claryn" last="Keeney"] is a wing with a good feel for the game and great instinctual tools. [player_tooltip player_id="207819" first="Carly" last="Stone"] is the dynamic shooter who was shown the ability to make plays for others based on this trait. [player_tooltip player_id="158529" first="McKenzie" last="Hirsch"] 2022 5’11" SG Oregon Elite/Crater HS - McKenzie is a tough, blue-collar type of player who makes it within her job description to do absolutely anything for her team to have a chance - at a single possession or a sleight at victory. Defensively, she is incredibly engaged, as she scraps for rebounds and steals using her awareness and effort. She has a knack for driving at the rim when her opponent least expects it and finishing. [player_tooltip player_id="207820" first="Mia" last="Skoro"] 2022 5’8" SG Oregon Elite/La Salle HS - Skoro plays for two prolific programs in the winter and summer in that of La Salle and NW Stars - she is used to being a constant cog on both ends of the floor as a determined and savvy guard. On offense, she knows how to fill in the gaps and has a knack for getting loose to the basket. A spirited defender who plays with a lot of effort and discipline as she has shown she is an all around player. [player_tooltip player_id="207825" first="Mya" last="Adams"] 2022 5’9" SG Oregon Triple/West Salem HS - Mya is a collected and skilled guard who makes a difference when she is on the floor as a scorer and defender. Offensively, she is versatile as she can hit the perimeter shot as well as make plays inside the paint. Defensively, she is just as engaged as she uses her quickness to accumulate steals and is active in the transition setting as a passer. A guard that every team can get a lift from. [player_tooltip player_id="207822" first="Claryn" last="Keeney"] 2022 5’10" SF Clutch Players/Westview HS - Keeney makes most of her plays inside the paint as a wing with size and a nose for the rebound. She scores inside the paint well and can knock down the perimeter jumper. What is most impressive is her versatility as a defender who can engage in the post but who also is quick enough to defend the perimeter position. A developing wing already with great tools and a good feel for the game. [player_tooltip player_id="207819" first="Carly" last="Stone"] 2022 5’6" SF NW Stars/Mountainside HS - Carly’s game is all revolved around her ability to shoot the perimeter shot - make no mistake about it, but she has made progressions as a player, using this as a foundation. She is a witty passer alongside the arc who uses a nifty pump fake in order to obtain attention of the defense before dumping it off. A solid rebounder and defender, she can also get loose to the rim.
