28.5: The Bubble brought an array of different players and talents from the Beaver State as these teams duked it out with teams from other areas and regions. In an action packed weekend, there were several standouts amongst all the action. [player_tooltip player_id="158489" first="Truitt" last="Reilly"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158545" first="Rhyan" last="Mogel"] were two cogs of consistency for NW Stars Navy whereas [player_tooltip player_id="158473" first="Aaronette" last="Vonleh"] continued her dominating display for Cal Stars. [player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158564" first="Zoe" last="Borter"] were two key members for Clutch Rose meanwhile [player_tooltip player_id="204588" first="Alexa" last="Borter"] and [player_tooltip player_id="211120" first="Olivia" last="Poulvaati"] were vital components for Clutch Cardinal and NW Stars White. [player_tooltip player_id="158489" first="Truitt" last="Reilly"] 2021 6’1" PF NW Stars Navy/Silverton HS - Truitt has a throwback feel to her game, as the Silverton forward combines the physical post game with a suave and disciplined perspective. A calculated rebounder who makes a full effort on rebounds and scores with precision and confidence. Her 11 point, 6 rebound, 3 steal performance versus Clutch Cardinal was representative of her sureshot qualities on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="158515" first="Charlotte" last="Richman"] 2022 5’6" SG Clutch Rose/Wilson HS - Charlotte plays a seasoned game and brings a veteran-like approach to the hardwood for Clutch Rose - a group of young talented playing up amongst 17U competition. She handles pressure by applying it - playing a calm perimeter game and sinking some huge shots well beyond the arc. This was apparent in Clutch Rose’s contest against a tough Arizona Elite team in which she scored 12 points and was tested throughout the game. [player_tooltip player_id="158473" first="Aaronette" last="Vonleh"] 2021 6’3" C Cal Stars/West Linn HS - Although Vonleh was visiting the campus of University of Arizona during a tremendous match-up between the Cal Stars and San Diego Waves, she made sure her presence was known in the paint as an unstoppable force. She scored 8 points and collected 3 rebounds versus Bella Vista Prep as she made sure all her touches counted. [player_tooltip player_id="211120" first="Olivia" last="Poulvaati"] 2023 5’11" PF NW Stars White/Tualatin HS - Poulvaati is a forward with a lot of levels to her game, as she has a solid frame ideal for scoring down-low and grabbing rebounds. Her skills extend beyond that of the traditional forward as she can hit it from deep as well has agile passing skills inside the paint. Poulvaati’s 9 point, 9 rebound, 2 assist performance against Cal Sparks was very telling of her all-around game. [player_tooltip player_id="204588" first="Alexa" last="Borter"] 2021 5’11" SF Clutch Cardinal/Beaverton HS - Borter has continued to show that she is willing and able to play alongside the perimeter as well as make plays in the paint as a defender, scorer, and rebounder. She can hit it alongside the arc and plays well within the offensive scheme as a witty and adept passer. Her 11 point, 7 rebound, 2 assist versus Cal Stars Blue was a great depiction of her overall game and demeanor. [player_tooltip player_id="158545" first="Rhyan" last="Mogel"] 2023 5’10" SF NW Stars Navy/Clackamas HS - Mogel has made huge strides as a player with a lot of motor and high productivity over the course of the summer. During this past weekend, she showed the uncanny ability to produce in the transition setting as she is relentless in her merits to getting her team a basket. Against Clutch Rose she had a game high 18 points and 7 rebounds as she has also developed a three-point shot and is continuing to improve. [player_tooltip player_id="158564" first="Zoe" last="Borter"] 2023 6’0" SG Clutch Rose/Beaverton HS - Zoe is an offensively diverse guard who has great height at six feet, as she brings a certain toughness when the ball is in her hands - with the ability to get through contact and make some tough shots. Against an incredible Troop West team, Borter had a great showing with 12 points and 3 rebounds as she was relentless in her efforts scoring against a physical and athletic squad.
