Austin Westlake Shows Several Pieces @High School Showcase

Austin Westlake joined Cedar Park from around the same area as well as Cibolo Steele about an hour and lunch up the highway so I touched on Cedar Park earlier and I’ll drop some STEELE later so be ready to pick it up yet Westlake definitely raised by freshly arched eyebrows especially after graduating Presley Bennett, Bailey Chynoweth and [player_tooltip player_id="66122" first="Shay" last="Holle"] and even though talented [player_tooltip player_id="134058" first="Pace" last="Rickard"] wasn’t on hand, several players gave me a different view 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="263334" first="Gwen" last="Gilmore"]-6’1 P Gilmore was one of the top post players at the event and she showed it tight off the top and as I wondered why I hadn’t seen nor written about her, yet I had so even when I’m wrong, I’m right, sometimes you just have to move on and capture the moment and she gave me many like showing good hands and footwork, finishing after contact as well as being agile and athletic to defend and rebound LaQuayla Chambers-5’6 G Chambers showed the "chamber of doom" on defense as she uses her athleticism well to apply pressure and her sometimes smothering on-ball terrosity, just made it a word, created turnovers galore. I also liked her first step, it got her wherever she wanted and she finished strong Riley Webster-5’7 G Webster is another athletic guard that showed she could create her shot and nail the pull-up jumper from various spots and she also did a good job attacking the rim 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="267344" first="Syona" last="Mandyam"]-5’9 SG Mandyam started things off with a "shooting exhibition" which was one of the best of my morning viewing and after the barrage of three pointers she dropped, the numerous "catch and shoot" mid to long-range and just watching her play with so much confidence will have her JEFFERSONIZED on the next update [player_tooltip player_id="267340" first="Peyton" last="Freiermuth"]-5’8 PG Fieiermuth has a name I can play with to explain where I’m going because you can get FIRE out of her name and you can also get THE TRUTH, yeah you may have to use the same letter twice but she was twice as good as what I’ve seen before yet the red hairs is gone but the heat has been turned up. She saw the floor so well, she made "big girl" passes for assists, that means next level and she was dropping the long-range consistently, she too will be JEFFERSONIZED 2024 Gianna Angiolet-5’8 SG Angiolet didn’t get added to the 2024 list update, she had a legitimate club season and she just missed yet she will not miss it next time as she just went completely off creating her shot under pressure for the mid to long-range. On top of that, she battled for rebounds and had several putbacks so when I say JEFFERSONIZED, she too will be Movin On Up Kennedy  Cannon 5’7 G Cannon has the right name because I was thinking BOOM as she stepped on the court and made her presence felt. I’m not a novice evaluator, I can do this with my eyes clothes, and believe me I have after some of these midnight madness tournaments I covered back in the day but she got hers in the flow and she understood her role but her upside is pretty darn good
