EOT Fall Gem State Classic: 3 Peaks/Cal Stars Attack

<strong>Final: 3 Peaks 38 - Cal Stars Attack 65</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">3 Peaks played a tough Cal Stars Attack - an affiliate of the historied Cal Stars program.  Kasey Booster was a bright spot for 3 Peaks as she has uncanny ability to score at all three levels and shows confidence and flair while doing so.  Ridgeview’s [player_tooltip player_id="207823" first="Jenna" last="Albrecht"] and Paige Penzter were relentless on their efforts on the boards and found ways to score inside.  [player_tooltip player_id="158535" first="Peyton" last="Gardner"] found ways to thread the needle as she ran things alongside the perimeter for 3 Peaks.  Faye Davis showed great size and skill inside the paint and Lilianna Overcash had some bright moments as a facilitator for 3 Peaks.  They ultimately fell short to Cal Stars Attack but had several bright spots in individual and team performance.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Kasey Booster 2024 5’6" SG 3 Peaks Performance/Mountain View HS</strong> - The versatile wing made several significant shots from the perimeter, but it is her shot decision and patience which makes all the difference.  She knows her spaces and spots out on the floor and will wait until there is an opening to make an attack.  She finished with a team high 13 points to go with 2 assists as she is also a savvy passer.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158535" first="Peyton" last="Gardner"] 2022 5’5" PG 3 Peaks Performance/Bend HS</strong> - Gardner is a sparkplug in the open court who also flourishes in the transition setting as a passer who pushes the pace.  She knows how to find teammates in stride and sets them up accordingly to her floor general tendencies.  Contributed 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal for 3 Peaks Performance.  </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="204602" first="Liliana" last="Overcash"] 2021 5’5" SG 3 Peaks Performance/Mountain View HS</strong> - Overcash is a witty and quick guard who has a knack for making the extra pass to a nearby teammate for easy scores.  She is also able to knockdown the open jumper and make her way to the rim with some wiggle.  Contributed 3 points and 2 assists for 3 Peaks Performance.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Paige Penzter 2021 5’10" SF 3 Peaks Performance/Ridgeview HS</strong> - Penzter is an aggressive guard who plays with resilience and grit around the rim as a rebounder and scorer as she isn’t afraid of contact.  Was a consistent rebounder - on both ends - and found ways to score consistently throughout the game.  Contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds for 3 Peaks Performance.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="207823" first="Jenna" last="Albrecht"] 2022 5’10" SG 3 Peaks Performance/Ridgeview HS</strong>  - Albrecht does all the small things for her team routinely as a team oriented player with skill and discipline.  She can find ways to score but her speciality is contributing on all frontiers.  Contributed 4 points 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 2 steals in an all-out effort for 3 Peaks Performance.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Faye Davis 2022 5’10" PF 3 Peaks Performance/Ridgeview HS</strong> - Right off the bat, Faye’s biggest attribute as a basketball player is her size and strength, which she uses to seal her opposition in rebounding and scoring efforts.  A natural rim protector with poise and determination.  Contributed a spirited 4 point, 6 rebound, 1 block performance for 3 Peaks.</span>
