Josie Hester Josie Hester 5'8" | SG United Faith Christian Academy | 2021 NC : The 5’8 shooting guard from United Faith Christian Academy led the state in scoring as a junior with nearly 31 points per game. She is a knock down shooter, consistently at 35% per game. She is a good teammate, and coachable kid. She rebounds well for a guard as well, she is not afraid to crash the boards and get in the paint. She should make someone’s college roster with her shooting abilities, and effort she plays with. She plays AAU for the Charlotte Dream Elite.
Diamond Thomas Diamond Thomas 5'4" | PG Knightdale | 2021 NC : The 5’3 point guard from Knightdale high school is a tough player. She plays hard, she likes to play defense, will guard the other teams point guard, and anticipates for steals/making plays. She can score it in bunches as well. She averaged nearly 23 points per game as a junior, and in the AAU circuit the last couple weeks has put up some big numbers. Another one who will make an impact at the next level. She plays AAU for the Carolina Waves organization.
Anisa Lewis Anisa Lewis 5'7" | SG Trask | 2021 NC : The 5’7 guard from Heide Trask high school is another tough, hard nosed kid. She already has a college build to her, big shoulders, strong, quick. She gets downhill into the paint quickly. She does not mind the contact, and will finish through it (over 150 attempts at the line as a junior). She nearly averaged a double-double, she does whatever her team needs her to do to win. She would be a great pickup to a team who needs a tough player that will run through a brick wall for them. She plays AAU for the Flight 22 organization.
Zaria Clark Zaria Clark CG Gaston Day | 2021 State NC : The 5’8 point guard from Gaston Day school has been running the show for the Spartans since she was in 8th grade. She has more than enough experience as a leader and floor general to bring to the next level. She has good court vision, scores it in a variety of ways, and rebounds better than most post players do. It surprises me that she is still available, she has a lot to offer the right team. She plays AAU for the Team Curry organization.
Jordan Durant Jordan Durant 5'6" | PG Butler | 2021 NC : The 5’7 point guard from Butler HS has the ability to fill up the score sheet. She can really fill it up by scoring it, and by dishing it out. She is a good steady leader who, again, can dish it out (over 4 assists per game as a junior) and knows how to get her own. She is a long athlete, runs the floor well, jumps well, defends well. All around player who can help a team out. She plays AAU for the FBC Carolinas organization.
