After a tremendous stretch that included four seasons with 20-or-more wins, Janesville slipped a bit to 11-12 a year ago. The Wildcats will look to 10 returning players led by Gabby Gergen, Kamryn Umthum and Hope Hovenga to lead the charge. Gergen grabbed 110 rebounds and Hovenga added 78 boards with 26 steals. Janesville will need to find some new outside shooters after graduating nearly all of its made three-point baskets.

A run to the Class 3A state tournament was among the many bright spots for Jesup last year, as the J-Hawks won 20 games and finished second in the North Iowa Cedar Conference East division. Leading scorer Amanda Treptow Amanda Treptow 5'4" | PG Jesup | 2022 State IA returns for her junior campaign after scoring 312 points on 33 percent shooting from the field and 31 percent shooting from the three-point line. Five others are also back including Laney Pilcher, Alexis Larson and Natalie O’Connor.

Mudderman shot almost 38 percent from the field and also led Kee with 85 assists. Senior Jada Mitchell is also back after grabbing 242 rebounds.
