The Lynnville-Sully girls just continue to win games, achieving another double-digit victory total by going 15-7 a year ago. The Hawks will look to seniors Krystal Van Dyke Krystal Van Dyke 6'1" | PF Lynnville-Sully | 2021 State IA and Caitlin Alberts to lead the way this season. Van Dyke had a team-high 182 rebounds last year, adding 26 steals and 23 assists. Alberts posted 52 assists.

It was a tough season for Madrid in 2019-20, but the Tigers routinely played tough defense that kept them in games. Nine players including starters Ella Santi, Erin Schieltz and Macy Gibbons each gained valuable experience. Schieltz made 14 three-pointers and also had 106 rebounds with 53 assists. Gibbons recorded 132 rebounds, 45 assists and 37 steals.

Manson Northwest Webster Cougars

A handful of narrow defeats kept Manson Northwest Webster from achieving more success last winter. The Cougars return nine players including starter Natalie Pearson who made a handful of three-pointers and added 43 rebounds, 33 assists and 24 steals. Paige Condon, Chloe Peterson and Olivia Sturgis were rotation regulars who should have bigger roles this year.

Maquoketa Cardinals

9 returning players
Maquoketa recorded a second consecutive winning season for the first time in recent memory, finishing with 17 victories in all. The Cardinals return nine players including starter Tenley Cavanagh who made 28 three-pointers and also had 56 rebounds, 39 assists and 26 steals. Addi Bowman, CJ Yeager, Madilyn Lemke, Jackie Miller and Carley Davis saw plenty of time last year as well.
