Wyatt Headed to Denver!
2021 5’8 SG Joclyen Wyatt Joclyen Wyatt 5'8" | PG Wilson | 2021 State WA (Wilson HS) recently announced her commitment to the University of Denver. Wyatt will fit in really well to Denver’s uptempo style of play where she can make plays in the open court and turn defense into offense. She plans to sign with Denver in the Spring signing period. A nice pickup for Denver.
Mt. Spokane With Another Commitment
The last four years have been very friendly to the Mt. Spokane program with at least one or more college commitment for the last several years. The latest is 2021 6’0 PF Jaimyn Sides Jaimyn Sides 6'0" | PF Mt. Spokane | 2021 State WA who announced her commitment to Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. The 6 foot lefty will provide some physicality in the paint with the ability to defend the 4 or 3. She is a very good shooter from 15-18 feet.
First 2022 Off the Board
Recruitment for the class of 2022 will be more difficult than maybe any graduating class in history. College offers for many will be harder to come by and there is a ton of uncertainty from colleges with seniors having an extra year of eligibility at their colleges. The abnormal recruitment in the 2021 class is projected to cause a wild transfer portal as well. Players in the 2022 class taking the offer(s) they do have is definitely the safe and smart option in some cases. Washington’s first player in the 2022 class announced her commitment this week. 2022 5’10 SG Natalie Fraley Natalie Fraley 5'10" | SG Kelso | 2021 WA of Kelso High School announced her commitment to Utah State via social media. Fraley has good length, versatile skill and two more years to prepare for her college debut.
