Temple
Taliyah Johnson Taliyah Johnson 5'6" | PG Temple | 2021 State TX
Johnson continues to show her ability to blow by defenders with ease because of her speed and ballhandling yet she did a good job of distributing the ball to the right players and some of her passes were just highlights but the real highlight comes with her ability to hit the stop and pop jumper or finish with contact
Aniah Hall Aniah Hall 6'3" | PF Temple | 2022 State TX
Hall had a double-double and scoring over 20 points seems to be the norm for her, so are double-digit rebounds because she goes after the ball off the rim like an abundance of payers used to as I label it #THROWBACK but she’s powerful and finishes with players hanging on her
Nyteria Colbert-5’4 SG
Colbert was more than a pleasant surprise, and one thing I love is to see players play the passing lane and she came up with steals galore, but she’s strong and understands how to get to the rim and finish after the lick, she has a nice pull-up jumper, but her defense was just over the top
Rudder
Tianna Mathis Tianna Mathis 5'9" | CG Rudder | 2021 State TX
Mathis can play all 5 positions and will play at least two at the next level but her BB-IQ, her poise as well as her ability have always captured my eye yet she just seems to make things happen and ignited several runs either from her mid to long-range jumper or attacking the basket yet her unselfishness and ability to see the floor stood out as well
Keundra Kelly-5’11 SF
Kelly has a college-ready body, she fights for rebounds and over the years she has expanded her offensive game from just being and back to the basket decoy to someone that can hit the big shots down the stretch and she definitely did that by stretching the defense with a couple of threes to change the momentum
Ariel McGinty-5’9 SF
McGinty’s upside caught my eye as her “ups” and athleticism were impressive. Let me back up, she’s long and athletic, that’s the base I start with and her energy level never changes which is very important but her highlight blocks, her swiping rebounds, and her body control while finishing after attacking the rim keeps me glued to her when she has the ball because her upside is scary, I’m serious and when she understands how good she is, all bets are off
