Kyndall Hunter Kyndall Hunter 5'8" | SG Cypress Creek | 2021 State #23 Nation TX
Hunter has exceeded what I saw in the 6th grade when I locked her in at D1 to become one of the top guards in the country and by combining athleticism with her college-ready frame, she is doing whatever she wants on the court because she understands how to just “set it off” on either end. Her pressure defense as well as playing the passing lane leads to steals and basket and her range is from another dimension as well as her attacking the rim and finishing with contact acrobatically before she Hooks Em at Texas
Rori Harmon Rori Harmon 5'7" | PG Cypress Creek | 2021 State #12 Nation TX
Harmon will join Hinter at Texas as the show continues as they will leave being one of the best 1-2 ever from Houston. Harmon was also locked in, at the 5th grade, and her progression has also exceeded my expectations because like Hunter, they didn’t settle and strive to be the best they can be and that mindset, as well as work-ethic, will transfer over to the next level but Harmon’s ballhandling, mid to long-range shooting and attacking while finishing after contact are always fun to see
Taliyah Johnson Taliyah Johnson 5'6" | PG Temple | 2021 State TX
Johnson’s speed with the ball can change the momentum, especially in the open court where she throws bullets by defenders for baskets. I love that she stays under control as she turns the turbo on and it’s hard to stay in front of her. She also can run a team, she knows how to control the tempo and her pull-up jumper always looks good as she creates her shot under pressure and can knock the mid to long-range down consistently and this includes having a hand in her face
Paige Bradley Paige Bradley 5'9" | SG Bishop Lynch | 2021 State #95 Nation TX
Bradley really showed me a different side of her game, I knew she could shoot the ball from multiple spots and from mid to long-range, I knew she played within herself and I also knew she understood how to get hers in the flow yet she showed me she could actually take over a game offensively and the start that she had against Desoto where she mixed up shooting the long ball, creating her shot for the midrange as well as attacking the rim and finishing strongly got the ball rolling early as the TCU signee will be doing much of the same in college
Kendall Brown Kendall Brown 5'9" | CG Desoto | 2021 State TX
Brown just scored so many ways that I stopped counting and watching her use her strength and athletic ability to overpower the defense helped set the tone for her talented squad but the Houston signee showed the pull-up while creating her shot in the half-court, from mid to long-range as well as the stop and pop in transition yet her defense also deserves some praise as the heat continued on the other end of the court and ket me not leave out her ball-handling and seeing the floor
