Jillian Villanti: The 5’8 senior guard from Lake Norman Charter has been an all conference player. She has a strong and solid build to her already, so she is able to get in the paint and finish through contact (going left or right). She has a good shot from deep and good range, but did not attempt that many on the season. Because of her size she is a good rebounding guard averaged almost 7 per game last season. She recorded 4 double-doubles last season as well. She plays AAU for the Charlotte Dream Elite organization.
Grace Loftin Grace Loftin 5'10" | SF Newton-Connover | 2021 NC : The 5’10 senior power forward from Newton-Conover is a glue kid who plays hard until the end. she averaged just under 11 points per game and 7 rebounds per game, she is the kid who plays until the whistle stops her. She recorded 5 double doubles last season, and out of their last 7 games, 6 of them she scored 17 or more points. She really got them going down the stretch of the playoffs. Her senior season should bring more great things.
Ashlyn White: The 5’6 senior guard from North Lincoln high school is a hustle player. Defensively she is all over the court for her team. She anticipates, she is not afraid to dive on the floor, or get knocked down going after steals. She averaged right at 4 steals per game as a junior, but recorded 5+ in 8 different games on the season. To go along with her high energy defense, she averaged 5 assists per game, recording over 100 on the season. She is an unselfish teammate, who does the little things to make her team go.
Ginny Overbay: The 5’11 sophomore power forward from East Lincoln high school brings a lot to her team. At 6 points and rebounds per game as a freshman, her sophomore season should be fun to watch. She had 3 games where she had 10+ rebounds, including a game where she was having an off scoring night so she made sure to be a presence on the boards. She needs to learn to play without fouling, which comes with time and playing more, that was where she struggled the most this last season. Overall she is an athletic player with a high ceiling.
Cassidy Geddes: The 5’7 sophomore guard from Newtown-Conover high school was a key player to the co-state champs successful season last season. As a freshman point guard averaging nearly 8 points and 4 assists, she left a stamp on her freshman season. She can score it in a variety of ways including being a consistent 3 point shooter (30% on the season), fast breaks, and she gets downhill quickly. She is smart on defense, she shoots the gaps, anticipates what is about to happen, and can really make plays happen for her team. She has a lot of potential moving forward. She plays AAU for the I-40 Elite organization.
Jade Taylor: The 5’8 sophomore forward from Lake Norman Charter left a stamp on her freshman season. She is a tough player who averaged right at 7 points, and grabbed 8 rebounds last season. She had 4 double-doubles, and then had 4 more games where she had double-digit rebounds. She had a career best 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 steals in a late season close win. She is long and athletic, plays hard, and is a coachable player. If she develops more of a consistent mid-range game, and extend it to 3 point land, she will have no problem landing a college home.
Kailyn Kilpatrick: The 5’9 sophomore guard from Lake Norman Charter is another great piece to this program. She averaged right around 7 points and 4 rebounds per game last season. She is a bigger, athletic guard, who can do a lot for her team. She shoots the 3 ball pretty well at 29%, she gets into the paint easy, and has a decent mid-range game. Defensively she is long and active. She can guard on the perimeter and makes plays for her and her team. She is another high potential player moving forward.
