Gift giving over the Holiday season is a long time tradition.. There are a lot of players here in Michigan that would be a gift to a college coach and program. Let’s look at some of the athletes that would be Holiday presents for next level coaches. Please read Part 1 and Part 2 of our look at "Presents For College Coaches" below: Presents For College Coaches Presents For College Coaches – Part 2 [player_tooltip player_id="147760" first="Levee" last="Clark"] (2022, PG, Fowlerville) Clark is simply a terrific young basketball player. I really like the way she seems to lead her squad from the point guard position. If her team needs buckets, Clark can get them. But she can also play pass first and make her teammates better. [player_tooltip player_id="147780" first="Mackenzie" last="Miller"] (2022, PF, Schoolcraft) Miller i just an all around solid power forward. You have to watch her to truly appreciate all that she brings to the table. Miller will fight through contact to rip down a board underneath. She’ll pick up a put back buckets as well. [player_tooltip player_id="178873" first="Jamira" last="Shumpert"] (2022, SG, Flint Beecher) I’ve been high on Shumpert for a year or so. If she’s paired up with a quality perimeter passing point, watch out. She gets open and shows herself to the passer. Shumpert can catch and shoot with efficiency. [player_tooltip player_id="147722" first="Jordan" last="Wright"] (2022, PG, Ann Arbor Huron) I’ll continue to say it - WRIGHT IS A BIG TIME TALENT. There aren’t many point guards in the state that have a more complete game. Wright is a 3 level scorer that can create on her own. She plays with her head up and will find open teammates. [player_tooltip player_id="189279" first="Lexi" last="Boyke"] (2023, PF, Frankenmuth) Boyke is such a talented prospect. And the best thing is.....her game continues to grow. She posts up and seals the defender, helping create room for a clean entry pass. Boyke likes to deny the entry pass on defense. Her perimeter game is getting stronger and stronger. [player_tooltip player_id="189282" first="Terin" last="Maynard"] (2023, PG, Jension) Maynard is one of the more talented lead guards in the class of 2023. She was a very poised player, even as a freshman that had the ball in her hands a lot. Maynard seems ready to take that next step, and it will be fun to watch when she does. [player_tooltip player_id="189285" first="Adelyn" last="Moore"] (2023, SF, Caro) Moore is a perfect example of what being a student of the game and having a high basketball IQ can do for a player. She always seems to play under control and have an understanding of the ebbs and flows of the game. [player_tooltip player_id="189318" first="Alyssa" last="Wypych"] (2023, PG, Rockford) Wypych is an intriguing point guard prospect. Her game is mature beyond her years. She has good start-stop speed and can put her defender on her hip. Wypych is a must see player in the coming years for college coaches.
