Colleen McQuillen Colleen McQuillen 5'10" | SG Cresskill | 2021 State NJ , Cresskill: McQuillen, a Fordham commit, is a scoring machine. She finished with a remarkable 737 points per game in 29 games of action, good for an average of 25.4 points per game. She was great at getting to the foul line, as seen against Paramus Catholic where 13 of her 41 points came from the stripe. She was a solid rebounder as well with 8.3 a game. While McQuillen gets a ton of attention for her stellar play on offense – and rightfully so – she also gets it done defensively. She is already the all-time scorer at Cresskill, breaking the record last year, and she’ll be on everyone’s radar this season before she heads off to college.
Nay Nay Clark, Oakcrest: Clark was another top scorer last season as a junior with 24.5 points per game. She set the tone for the season right away with a 40-point performance in the season opener against Camden. She finished with 30 points on numerous occasions on the way to 638 points in 26 games of action. Clark hit double figures in every game last season.
Rylie Theuerkauf Rylie Theuerkauf 5'7" | SG Tenafly | 2023 State NJ , Tenafly: Theuerkauf was a freshman sensation for Tenafly with 21.7 points per game, which was the seventh-best average in the state. She put in a season-high 41 points against Dwight-Morrow this past February, hitting a remarkable 11 3-pointers in the process. She had 37 points apiece in wins over Ridgefield Park and Mount St. Dominic. She can score in the mid-range game, drive to the basket and finish through traffic and go one end of the floor to the other for buckets. She has tremendous potential the next few years at Tenafly.
Kiley Capstraw Kiley Capstraw 5'10" | SG West Orange | 2022 State NJ , West Orange: Capstraw, a Yale commit, had a great sophomore campaign despite missing six games last season. She had four 30-point games, and her season-high of 36 came against Newark Tech. Capstraw averaged 21.4 points per game.
Alexis Davis Alexis Davis 6'0" | SF Woodbury | 2023 State NJ , Glassboro: Davis was another freshman who had a terrific season. She averaged 21.2 points per game, hitting double figures in every game but two. She put in 33 points against Penns Grove as a season-high. Davis was a rebounding machine as well, averaging 11.9 rebounds per game. She had 23 double-doubles on the year.
Christy Brennan Christy Brennan 5'5" | PG Hopatcong | 2022 State NJ , Hopatcong: Brennan followed up a quality freshman season with a sophomore year that saw her average 20.7 points per game. She was able to get to the foul line at a high clip, as she finished with seven games of double-digit made free throws on her way to 189 for the season. Top scoring performances came against Kittatinny (37 points), South Hunterdon (37 points) and American Christian (34 points).
